I’m back playing Xenoblade Chronicles X

Finished RE9 over the weekend and it really is a game of 2 halves. The Grace part really did most of the heavy lifting while the Leon sections were largely serviceable but ultimately unremarkable. Game would have been better if it was Grace 80% and Leon 20% imo. 8/10

Playing some Nioh 3 co-op with randos while waiting for RE9 to release

Finally finished Nioh 3 and what a game it was! Currently my favourite game of the year so far and I’m glad it’s over as I need to make way for RE9 this week. The game supposedly really opens up in NG+ but I’ll give it a rest until DLC releases later this year. 8.5/10

The Bakumatsu era in Nioh 3 is my favourite area so far. This place reminds me of The Entertainment District arc from Demon Slayer

Last day of work before the Lunar New Year break

My plan over the weekend to take a break from Nioh 3 so that I can play DQ7 resulted in… a whole weekend of playing more Nioh 3 😅

I spent the afternoon just co opping and helping other players out. Nioh 3 has been incredible so far. Probably my favourite game of the year so far

Finally moved on from warring period to Heian. Might give this a break to start playing DQ7

I have so far defeated 2 bosses in Nioh 3 without any summoning. I think I deserve a reward given I summon scummed my way through Elden Ring 😌

Post Endgame Marvel has honestly been a very mixed bag both on the big screen and television. Wonder Man is probably the best thing they’ve done on television and I’m glad they got the most out of Ben Kingsley reprising his role from Ironman 3

I downloaded DQ7 on my Steam Deck last night but I played Nioh 3 until dawn ☠️

Took me a dozen tries or so but finally beat this 1st boss. I’ve only touched a fraction of the mechanics and I’m already overwhelmed so let’s see how the rest of the demo goes

Just finished watching Wonder Man and I’m a little sad but also elated to not see the ‘Wonder Man will return in Avengers: Doomsday’ line at the end of the credits

The Nioh 3 demo isn’t really clicking for me right now. I’ll try wrap my head around the mechanics but might not bother with the game if it’s still like this

I have a strong feeling that Crimson Desert will have a dogshit story with boring characters but will still be incredibly fun to play

After Earthbound, I’m replaying this. Tonally and thematically a completely different beast from the 2nd game, this was a hard game for me to wrap my head around. The ending still haunts me to this day but it’s still undeniably a masterpiece
