At first sight good move. After all Gulf states are the unintended victims of Trump and Netanyahu’s criminal folly. Need to know more about the nature of this support. Good to hear no Australian boots on the ground. Besides Trump probably doesn’t want them anyway.
Not Harvard. It is pretty much useless now. Hasn’t been updated for a decade. APA7 for the win
Cup Fever! Goodbye Kim Jong-Il
We have people who moved to these places to avoid paying taxes, while still getting the benefits of an Australian passport - and at the first hint of trouble, want to bludge off the taxpayer to get the government to bring them home. If their primary tax domicile isn't Australia, bill them for it.
So Trump is disappointed in Starmer for not being boots and all supportive of his actions against Iran "this is not Winston Churchill we're dealing with".
Well Mr. President, you’re not Franklin Delano Roosevelt either.

When I read this I think what good electoral system we have in Australia. In the USA voters could still vote for progressive independent like Stein and still give their preferences to a Democrat that while not perfect it would be better than the sociopath they have now.
Probably because It's not an invasion (yet) just airstrikes at this stage. So it was a different set of circumstances as Howard committed Australian soldiers in the operation, which was unpopular and the ALP opposed. I think Trump will not send troops as his MAGA base would never forgive him.
Spanish PM had the right response. But he's part of one of the strongest Union of Nations in the world (the EU) Australia does not. www.aljazeera.com/video/newsfe...
Again Greens/left of Labor people piling up on Wong. Of couse criticise the government position (as I do) but thinking that the Australian government (and Wong) would stuck out on its own criticising Trump has still not understood the ALP and the realpolitik of the situation.

Albanese has been criticised for supporting the actions of the USA and Israel against Iran (including me) However Mark Carney’s position is almost identical.

Iran women’s team is playing South Korea tomorrow at the Gold Coast. And of course the men’s team is playing in the World Cup first match in Los Angeles. That would be interesting
Albo has had a few bad takes in the last week or so. First he said that the Australian citizens stranded in a Syrian detention "made their bed" and must now "lie in it” thus condemning children to remain in horrible conditions. Then called Grace Tame ‘Difficult’. And now this.
President Trump s the peace candidate!
This has aged well

I use Anthropic Claude for coding and it’s great! I say ‘could you code for a box with grey background with an unordered list in it?” And Lo and behold it generates the code for it.
I enjoyed the Winter Olympics a lot (especially when they are held in my birthplace) But they are not within the Olympic spirit.
a) They intrinsically favour cold-weather countries because of the very nature of the sports.
b) expensive infrastructure, equipment etc. disadvantage poorer nations.
LOL! That last paragraph
So Victoria loses the MotoGP. Big deal or not many care much anymore?
At Roland Garros match in 1989 Stef Graf abruptly left the court in the final set. When asked repeatedly by (male) journalists why she’d stopped, she eventually said she was having her period. According to sportswriter Michael Mewshaw some reporters then printed her menstrual cycle details.
Not in the 70s. We had Whitlam from 1972 and then Fraser from 1975 believing in multiculturalism
He’s coming to Australia next month.
That Italian announcer at the moguls is on drugs.
This Palestine jersey has been banned from the A-league multicultural round for being ‘involved in major conflict’
