As a STU grad, and former. ED of a PSE lobby organization, I was hesitant to say this out loud. Well okay, I did to someone (a Mt.A grad), and they gave me dagger eyes.
Iβm team letβs examine and see while also sympathetic to those employed by the institutions.
That Umbro logo took me back!
They're ATCs!
This group has failed to garner much support outside of the SANB to change the name.
Iβd say the majority of the Acadian population donβt want a name change, for many reasons. Many against a change canβt really comment publicly, for fear of backlash or possible conflict with their employer.
I agree, but the vet bill says there are two.
As the owners of two half wiener dogs, I need this!
One thing the municipal reform created is a need for a lot of them to have a new logo/visual identity.
I will just leave Kedgwick's logo for your enjoyment. Yes, this is their new logo.
Wild Friday night over here!
Giant boners are a cure-all, I guess!
I mean, we cured menβs boners before cancer - so I think thatβs a fair ask.
Yep - heard the same from friends in the industry. The worst!!!!
I saw a few downtown (had to be at an event at the Capitol). It was π¬.
This was my experience like 15 years ago on a Saturday evening⦠the people pouring were also very much over it by the 4th session.
The civilized people (like us, of course), tended to go the Friday afternoon. The other sessions feel like a fashion show booze fest.
No you cried your face off at a Sarah McLachlan concert.
My teen years were a tough time in my household - her music definitely helped carry me through.
Where do you live and can I come? I can bring pork belly burnt ends.
Canadian singer songwriter Bryan Adams is on stage, belting into a microphone, guitar around his neck.
Heβs still got it.
My 3rd time seeing him at the Avenir Centre, and everytime is better than the last.
I'd say an overcorrection for humans, but most important for dogs not to eat those pellets.
The landscaping service we use at my townhouse spread tiny pellets meant to go into the ground to prevent chinch bugs, and kills the hibernating grubs the crows like to destroy the lawn for in the spring. That said, we might be getting scammed, but our lawns do look decent.
Went solo to my neighbourhood bar for the first time in a while - and I got into an argument with a conspiracy theorist. I think Iβm going to drink at home for a while.
One part is work invoiced before financial year end, and they're waiting for my deliverable. (Which, fair.)
2nd part is clients DRAGGING the project and thus not wanting to release final payment. (This should've been done before the summer.)
3rd part is balance on deposits for ongoing work.
Update, 22 days later... I have not made any headway yet. The honest truth is that I have a 5 figure number in unpaid invoices, and I am on the verge of having to live on credit.
This is the reality of entrepreneurship! For all of its glamour, these phases happen.
Went to a networking/social event tonight - and the amount of old white men who literally stepped in front of me to speak with the person I was already engaged in a conversation with was absolutely next level.
This entitlement is why we canβt have nice things.
I didn't know what to watch on tv last night, and decided to start watching Seinfeld. I have seen some episodes here and there, but never watched the whole thing.
I powered through season 1, and, well... I decided that I am okay with Seinfeld lacking in my general culture knowledge.
If you're looking for a coworking space, there is that option. DM me and I can give you the info for a day pass :
- Free parking
- Free coffee (commercial espresso machine - rumored to be from the YUL airport during Expo67)
- Walk to Tony's & short drive to NDP
My office is on Botsford, and I need to eat a patty melt at NDP at least once a month, for survival.
Okay! But I don't want to hear complaints about how Moncton/Dieppe is terrible, and has bad food when you ate a gas station lunch, Ray!
- Or the other option for a shorter journey/all in one spot : Laundromat for coffee/work, lunch next door at NDP.
- Atelier Tony in Dieppe (next to market)
- Tony's on Botsford (downtown Moncton)
- Second Cup, Dieppe blvd (close to highway)
- If you want to do 2 separate journeys and hang at a CafΓ© (La Factrie) and THEN go eat lunch at Notre-Dame de Parkton (best sandwiches in the city - hands down).
Ok that is brilliant, and I need to incorporate that into my schedule. Iβll ask the boss*.
*the boss is me and she said yes.
