I should add "pure quantum state" to my bio then.
People should always write code to be read by someone else. Because future you is also someone else.
Past you was a good programmer in this instance :)
Check out this course, if you want to learn about our quantum pictures!

Two great papers on the arXiv today!
One has a title echoing that of Kitaev's "Fault-tolerant quantum computation by anyons" almost 30 years ago. Finally Anasuya Lyons and @benbrown.bsky.social shown how to make it work from encoding to decoding.

I suppose my orbit within the bsky galaxy is rather fitting for someone impersonating Bombadil.
(nice visualizer btw)
I've only read "Rocannon's world" years ago. And eventhough i forgot most of the story, I certainly remember that it was a pleasure to read. Guess that's a chance for me to read it again and re-enjoy it like the first time!
So naturally I recommend that you read it when you can.
I can understand this as a short term solution for AI slop, assuming a longer term one is planned, but I don't think it'll have a big impact. I see so much AI "papers" (some even citing my work!) with authors listing institutional emails and all. Endorsement requirements won't be stop them.
I think โโโ โโโโโ โโโโโ โโ โโโโโโโ โโโโโ. Also, โโโ โโโ โโโโโโ โโโ, but โโโโโ โโโ โโโโโโ โโโ โโ โโโโโโ!
As someone who doesn't really follow US politics (I still know who Mamdani is though), I have no clue how hard this challenge would be.
So how about longer than Boromir's self-control over the one ring lasts in Tolkien's LOTR?
Speaking of hiking (it was mostly driving, really), I had finally revisited the Akfadou mountain (~1600m) and forest after 7 years!
Sources say the new year might slip to Q2 2026.
Been waiting for the results (in this detail) since I learned of that experiment from you in Trieste, in 2023! Congrats! Your ZX book, which you generously gifted and signed at the ICTP, is proudly displayed (and used) at our lab :)
Illustrating 'rage bait' with a triple hook is a rage bait itself ... for some.
Where i am, attendance sharply dropped post covid. The lockdowns did show that a lot could be done remotely. Students expected continuity, but many profs couldn't keep up, having talked to many. This could explain some of the issues. (at least locally, along with AI "slopification" of information)
No stalking please.
