"oh you gotta post to tiktok! its all about the shorts content haha" yeah i do and they randomly get between 100 and a few thousand views with seemingly 0 correlation. Theres always been a degree of luck in content creation and thats fine but holy moly has it gotten BAD
The fact that content creation has been grossly consumed by algorithm ai overlords that decide who ever actually gets to see your shit. I have a thousand youtube subs but who sees my videos? no one. i have thousands of twitter and twitch followers but same story.
im seeing a lot of people on my timeline complaining about "twitch not counting my lurkers!!" and "why isnt my stream growing!!! / heres how you really grow your stream!!!!!" but im not seeing anyone talking about the actual horror of content creation these days.
