Ugropy?
@michaelgentile
Professor in human geography at the University of Oslo. My current research interests surround the Russian war of aggression against Ukraine. Putin belongs behind bars. Lazio-Latina, er derby s'avvicina!
Ugropy?
I guess that is the least they can do for their Iranian allies.
Voronyuk och Voronko funkar ocksΓ₯, men Voronov Γ€r alltid bΓ€ttre Γ€n Voronin.
btw, if Azerbaijan and Iran go to war, flights between Europe and Asia will stop. Flights can already no longer go through Russia (war) and the Middle East (war), and are hugging through a flight corridor in the Caucasus that would get shut down.
Of course, but they could ... quietly.
which they could, of course, easily get in Ukraine...
Frankly, Iran's been a problem for some time too, but it seems to me that Trump & bibi are attacking for the wrong reasons. They're not hoping to see a democratic government, a friendly autocratic one would be preferable for them. (Enter: shah's son?)
So you think they would want to take part on a land force that invades Iran?
Perhaps the risk of meaningful retaliation is considered lower in regard to Iran.
That I understand, it's your second point that puzzles me too...
Why Lithuania?
The satellite imagery suggests about 10-11k dead, but of course that is a gross underestimate because thousands are buried under the rubble - and russia has hidden them.
Absolutely ridiculous to claim russia cares about civilians, but the 88k figure for Mariupol (and I've heard even higher than that from some sources) is not realistic. 25k is in line with the Mariupol administration's own estimations, and consistent with satellite imagery from graveyards.
Like the Soviet Union immediately after Stalin's death. The next stage is that they turn against each other.
Hmmm, biorobots... heard this one before? Chernobyl? euromaidanpress.com/2026/02/28/r...
You might have missed this with all the other news happening, but it is Trump giving the Chinese government a massive win and further degrading the value of the US as an ally. This should be a major story. www.nytimes.com/2026/02/27/u...
Don't they all know that this all violates the international law and therefore they should immediately stop? Oh, if only they knew...
F. Operation F.
Wait.... they started this and their bases can't even defend themselves from shaheds?
Ahh nothing to see here but Dominic Cummings, spouting pure Putin/Kremlin propaganda, while wishing the death of British citizens.
Brexit making more sense now?
Quick, call the quackistocrat so that he can broker "peace" between the Taliban and Pakistan! edition.cnn.com/2026/02/27/a...
That's quite a statement from the quack-in-chief. Basically, he says "in charlatans we trust."
What can I say.... these cops sure seem like snowflakes to me.
Ett historiskt tal, ett av de bΓ€sta jag kan minnas. Tack fΓΆr att du la ut den.
Exactly four years ago I spent the night in front of my laptop screen waiting for what was coming. Then, a plane coming from the south was re-routed around Ukraine. What were you doing exactly four years ago?
Perhaps the water supply to the embassy could inconveniently fail.
Did you know Aidar fought with the Mazepans and that Dnipro 1 stems from the Khazarian times??
I usually get sent into Peru when I'm in Kharkiv. Kyiv usually somewhere near Fastiv. Sumy is the worst: it throws me regularly into russia. Ironically, I am rarely sent abroad when I visit Kramatorsk.
