Reading Goals For 2026 I've participated in the Goodreads Reading Challenge for the past 4-5 years. Last year I read 41 books, above my goal of 30 for the year. Graphic I worked up to promo the new fantasy novel. I'm a horror writer at heart, and there's definitely a dose of horror/gruesome stuff along with lots of action and adventure.

Finished this piece up last night. Skeleton knight is done in Micron pen and Payne's gray water color. The background is acrylic paint. May do a series of fantasy pieces like this. More likely, I'll get get distracted and draw something completely different.

As I've said before, I've had ideas for fantasy series kicking around in my head for years. I grew up reading fantasy, watching fantasy movies, and playing RPG video games.
