That's a cool collection! You need to go for the Shot Blaster and Magnum/Knife, if you don't have them already!

This was my first GB game as a kid. I didn't even know the Mortal Kombat games, but I loved the movie. I remember my uncle bought me the Game Boy for my birthday and when we went to the store to actually get a game for it, he was confused why they asked for his license.
It's #ScanlineSunday and you know what that means.
It means that before I left, I put a copy of Secret of Mana into SNES and took some pics of the #CRT. I've never played this game before. I managed to luck into a copy pretty cheap and this was the first time testing it out. Battery still works!
I don't know what time it is back home but I think it's still #RandomGameSaturday right??
This is truly random. I don't know what this is. Seven: Molmorth no Kiheitai is an RPG...? Tactics...? Definitely from Namco lol. The art style looks really nice and it was only 220Y. Can't go wrong with that.
The opposition team is trying to a pickoff. Runner on second, the secondbaseman is holding him on, with the shortstop covering. Umpire watching the play.
Umpire makes the call on a groundout at firstbase. Players to going back to their dugouts.
We won! The game is called due to the 10 run mercy rule.
Seattle gets stomped out and the game gets called after the 4th inning. My performance score for this match is 86. A later screen will break down how I got that.
The game has a 10 run mercy rule. After the blowout, the game is called with a final score of 13-2. At the end, the game will give you a score based on a bunch of things that happened, like strikes out, nice plays, walks, home runs, etc.
Afterwards, a new game will start against a tougher team.
The screen angle will change depending on whether the pitcher is a lefty or righty. I remember having huge issues hitting against lefties for some reason. Just like really life, I guess.
Grand slam graphic.
Another home run. The batter is rounding the bases, admiring his shot before the fireworks go off.
Solo home run graphic.
Maybe they shouldn't have put in the relief pitcher. I am teeing off on him.
Anderson is throwing 101 mph heat.
We hit a home run. The ball flies into the stands and fireworks go off.
Score board graphic for hitting a 3-run homer. Eaxh home run type has a different graphic.
Anderson is getting pulled after giving up a bunch of runs. Here comes the lefty Watts, with a 4.62 ERA.
I ended up playing more than I expected and took a bunch of photos. Scored a couple of runs and the starting pitcher got pulled early.
Title screen
Prematch graphic. Despite being a New Yorker, my team in this game was always the Boston Buzzards
Opposing pitcher throws a pitch called a ball. Alfonso is leading off, with a .287 average and 16 HR. Anderson is starting for the opposition, sporting at 2.90 ERA and 100 strikeouts on the year
Pitch in flight. There is a runner on first.
It's Monday where I am in Tokyo but it's still #ScanlineSunday back home. Before I left, I took some pics on the #CRT so let's celebrate with the most Japanese of things... Baseball. Spring training got me in the mood.
Super Bases Loaded is one of my favorite baseball games especially of the era.
I'm traveling across the world so let's get #RandomGameSaturday out quick.
I got Snoopy & The Great Mystery Club from the library. Support your local libraries, everyone!!
The game itself is very lackluster. Not broken in any way, but definitely aimed at young children. But it's cute though
I love seeing Wii games on CRTs because that is their natural environment, IMO. The Wii is a 480 machine, but I think most people are used to seeing it hooked to HDTVs with components or HDMI (or played through Dolphin).
Lol. Nope, just a 32 inch. It can only crush kids up to high school, not college.

Capcom Vs. SNK 2
Itβs Valentineβs Day, so it seems appropriate that This is True Love Makinβ would be the choice for today.
The front of the box for Enchanted Lands on the Atari ST.
The back of the box for Enchanted Lands on the Atari ST.
#RandomGameSaturday this week features decent-looking scrolling even on an ST (yes I know itβs not continuous scrolling).
The big box and jewel case for Time Crisis on the PlayStation.
The back of the big box for Time Crisis showing which cables you need to use the GunCon as well as a few screenshots and the games story setting.
Todays #RandomGameSaturday is Namco's Time Crisis. One of my absolute favorite arcade experiences, sadly the lack of a foot pedal lessens the home console version. However, the game still rips and is among the best in light gun games. Unfortunately, I don't know where my GunCon is.
A loose copy of Star Ocean: Till the End of Time for the PlayStation 2. It is packaged in a custom printed game case and cover.
Star Ocean: Till the End of Time is todayβs #randomgamesaturday.
The third installment in Tri-Aceβs ARPG franchise, itβs considered either just as great as Second Story or one of the worst.
If Iβm being honest, itβs a fun romp and still one of my favorite PS2 RPGs.
We have some special guest in the crowd for the big Kirby vs Dedede main event match.
And a couple more.
The #ScanlineSunday combo. Put Kirby Super Star on the 8000 pound Trinitron #CRT and.... Well, my original save battery died for this. I took one pic on Milky Way Wishes, the game froze, and when I rebooted it, there were no saves left. I should buy a bunch of those easy swap battery holders.
I was going to choose Resident Evil 5 as the Valentine's game. I chose Kirby instead. But don't worry Sheva stans, she'll show up one day.
Kirby's Super Star cartridge for the Super Nintendo. It's boasts 8 games in one. If you included the mini games and hidden game, it's a little more than that. That said, it's not a collection in how we know it today. These were all unique to this package. You can't play Great Cave Offensive elsewhere. (Well... Besides the eventual upgraded port to the DS.)
Pic of the manual. Shows you how to use Kirby's copy ability, plus a few abilities that can be copied.
Pic of the manual. It describes Milky Way Wishes. This is probably my favorite game within the collection.
Pic of the manual. It shows a few common enemies, plus a few of the mini bosses.
#RandomGameSaturday and today is Valentine's so let's talk about a nice co-op game.
Kirby's Super Star is fantastic. A collection of a bunch of games that range from single button samurai duels, to interplanetary space adventures. It's designed to be played co-op, for that Waddle Dee in your life.
There's not enough love for Sega Saturn these days or ever haha so that's what I got for this #RandomGameSaturday
There are 5 games in the Majin Tensei series, another SMT spin-off. Ronde is the third one, released in 1997 and I love the cover art. Character designs were done by Kazuaki Yanagisawa.
I didn't know this existed! Super cool!!
Fighting Vipers is one of those games I used to see in magazines, dreaming of my own Saturn. Fun fighting game with a cool cast! #RandomGameSaturday
What an absolute coincidence. I literally booted this up before I got the notification lmao

The box for John Madden American Football for the Amiga from Electronic Arts. The cover shows a running back being tackled by a defender while a blocker looks on. Note that the 'American' is in a much smaller font, I expect only added for European markets. See the picture of the manual for a discrepancy.
The back cover of the John Madden American Football box with some text and screenshots under the heading "Big, tough, bone-crunching!"
What's inside the box: a manual and two floppy disks. Note that the manual is for "John Madden Football" and does not include the "American' as on the box art.
Some pages from the John Madden Football manual with diagrams for some of the offensive and defensive audibles.
It's the day before the Superbowl, I've saved the best football themed #RandomGameSaturday until last: it's John Madden Football for the Amiga. I've owned many of the sequels on many different systems but this was my first. It was a new benchmark in terms of combining simulation and presentation.
This game is legitimately so good. Which is funny because not a lot of people played this one. They played 50 Cent: Bulletproof, which is so bad.
That box art is really pleasant. The NA cover looks nothing like that.

I don't know what this game is but it looks like you control a cute pupper so that's a positive in my book
