Winning ugly, Huerzeler’s tears, and the return of the defensive wall It wasn't pretty. It wasn't fun to watch. Arsenal didn't play well and Brighton kept us penned back for large portions of last night's game at The Amex. But boy was that a big result. A huge one. On...

Be plenty of other fans moaning about ou route to the Champions League final. Guys, we literally won EVERY game in the group stages. Think we've kinda done a lot of the heavy lifting to get ourselves this 'perceived' easy run. You wanted that run? Should have won all your games.

Oh yeah, it’s constant. But after a while you just expect it and enjoy the saltiness

Forest fans not confident ahead of this one, but the Premier League always throws up surprises Happy Friday folks. It's a press conference one today, which means we'll get Arteta and Dyche having their say on the evening kick-off under the lights tomorrow as we travel up to the City Ground. And...

Some early Forest thoughts ahead of tomorrow evening's game. This is by no means a cut-and-dry win for us, despite what their fans are thinking - www.suburbangooners.com/2026/01/16/f...

Not many attacking options on our bench - but with our XI so strong, you’d like to think we’ll have enough to win.

Foden doesn’t score or assist for several games at a time - but he scores in one game and all of a sudden, pundits love him.

Talent is undeniable - consistency is severely lacking.

Haaland has 13 goals, the next top City scorer has 1.

Rotation on the cards for Arsenal, but that doesn’t mean weakness So, we have ourselves a League Cup tonight and following Mikel Arteta's press conference yesterday, we've got a bit of speculation over who he's going to start that is the key topic for today, for sur...

The saltiness just makes it better.

The noise around us just having set-plays is delicious.

Boring?

We have the 2nd highest goal tally!

Anything to make you feel better I guess…

Has anyone else noticed the sharp drop in absolute clangers from goalies this season?

It might be the new PL ball, but there hasn’t been anywhere near as many game-changing errors from keepers so far.

Maybe the standard has gone up - but it’s definitely noticeable.

Remember when we got such shit for not setting up to win a game?
Where’s the same backlash for City with their 5-5-0 formation?
They deserved nothing from that game.

Yep, we didn’t play well.
Yep, we gave a few too many chances away.
But we got the 3pts. Look how many times L’pool didn’t play to their best but still grabbed the points.
When you’re not playing well - you still have to find a way to grab the W.

Berta’s most important job this summer isn’t transfer targets.

It’s getting contract extensions for Nwaneri, MLS, Saka and Saliba.

Let’s not overlook the fact that our patched up defence earned a clean sheet against Mbappe, Rodrygo and Vinicius Jr.

Exactly what most thought they couldn’t do.

An absolute masterclass across the pitch.
