Just look at the way some of these protesters prioritise their urge to protest over their own children. In one video of a heated exchange with ICE officers, a woman who was at the scene of an active ICE sting left her child in her car while she confronted the agents. The irony was evidently lost on her that here she was, leaving her child apparently unattended to stick it to ICE, when they’re just trying to make her community safer by arresting illegal immigrants.
If ICE are civically minded police operating in a democracy then this woman's crime was walking a few feet away from her children in an environment where there were armed men protecting the kids from any harm. The fact the author sees this as dangerous shows that she sees ICE as fascist thugs
