“Cap’n Hook” has been treated. There was no infection. He was sedated, and the hook was removed without complications. He’s been returned to his home nesting ground at Lake Stevens North Cove Park 🦆🐣

Caught a juvenile mallard with a fishing hook stuck in its neck this morning and took it up to the wildlife rescue sanctuary.
I named them Cap’n Hook
He’s safe at the rescue where they’ll send us updates. 🦆❤️🩹

When you get deep enough into psych treatment, you realize everyone has a little of every diagnosis there is, because they’re all spectrums. Then you get to do the really hard work of unlearning all those shitty patterns that you picked up out of desperation for survival.
