On Memorial Day Weekend I honor James G. Bosley of New Creek, West Virginia, KIA on 9-2-1967. Jim was just a foster child with a beautiful girlfriend, graduated near the top of his class, was an Assistant Scout Master, and one of the few folks I have ever known that may have changed the the world.
Trump and some Republicans are calling for the removal and even arrest of Judges that "disagree" with him". You know who else did that? #ProudBlue On April 26, 1942. Hitler said: "I expect the German legal profession to understand that the nation is not here for them but they are here for the nation... From now on, I shall intervene in these cases and remove from office those judges who evidently do not understand the demand of the hour."
On 5-8-25 we traveled the WV Turnpike. No wrecks, just construction. Spending 2 1/2 hours to get from Princeton to Charleston is not acceptable. WVDOTβs mission is to provide safe and efficient travel, not have traffic doing 5 mph for 8 miles due to toll collection activity. WV Parkways do better.
In WV, Governor Morrisey signs a bill requiring a photo ID to vote. In my humble opinion a better idea would have been to require a photo be included on my voterβs registration card.

In Thanksgiving Week may I ask you to remember to donate to your local food bank or pantry with a monetary or food donation. The pantry where I volunteer couldnβt open last Thursday as we were out of money and food. Looking at online church bulletins indicates we are not alone. Thanks in Advance.

Iβm just not a fan of colder, damp winter days with little sunshine.
In WV only 36% of secondary students are proficient in math. WVUβs Accounting majors have declined four years in a row. Yes, potential accountants canβt pass the math portion of the entrance exam. Fixing secondary education and PEIA and should have been a priority over the tax cuts and surpluses.
This yearβs Apprentice Show appears to have a lot of deficiencies in the lineup.
