On the day after the Tories at the County Council rejected some of my motion to boost civic pride in Gloucestershire and clean up our area this happens. You couldn’t make it up!

At Peterborough City Council Full Council meeting. Busy agenda tonight including Woodston Library, CCTV Licensing, inheritance tax on farms, update on the council Independent Improvement Panel and an update on the Children’s Improvement Board.

MPs have BACKED Sarah Olney's Lib Dem bill on electoral reform. This is a historic day for fair votes.

Today, as we have done for a century, Liberal Democrats are leading the fight for fair votes and making sure that no one can be ignored in our democracy.

Politicians have been failing on social care for far too long. Millions are suffering, being hit financially, living in misery and pain.

We have got to tackle this. Liberal Democrats stand ready to work with the government and any party to secure a long term plan to save social care.
