I really struggled with the screenplay for Marty Supreme, and I think those narrative issues really hampered Chalamet's performance.

If the movie was as tight as the director's previous film, Uncut Gems, I might feel more torn between Chalamet and Jordan, since both are undeniably skilled actors.

SUCH range. It was already impressive that he was playing twins, but that each character also felt meaningfully unique from the other...such nuanced work.
