I could go for one of those today.

Unfortunately Glenwood Springs doesn't work as a day trip. I've been there in summer, but never winter. A day at the hot springs does sound nice!
Random find: Parque EcoAlberto, in Hidalgo Mexico (a state better known for the Instagrammable Grutas Tolantongo) has a tourist attraction re-creating an illegal border crossing, with simulated chases, sirens, threats and so on. I'm intrigued.

Anyone ridden the Winter Park Express? As a non-skier, I have absolutely zero reason to go to Winter Park, CO but I kinda want to ride the train. #colorado @amtrak.com
U.S. domestic travel has gotten insanely expensive since post-covid.
These changed my life since they fit in the dishwasher :)
Booked my first trip for 2025: We're heading to Zion & Bryce National Parks this June. We had been debating Utah vs. Hawaii but island life will have to wait for another year.
I anticipate another 4-6 trips over the course of the year but destinations and timing still TBD.
Wow, that's a LOT! I'll be curious to follow along and see which countries make your priority list.
I love the Denver ones -- go there more often than the Cap1 lounge. More space, better views, extra dose of happiness, and never a line.
Same to you!
Yeah I have to admit the rain makes me second-guess spending all that cash on a resort that I may or may not even be able to enjoy.
Greenland is one of those places I'm curious about but not enough to prioritize yet. Admittedly does look beautiful!
(Sorry about the cancelled trips - not sure I've ever had 3 in a short timeline like that)
map of flight paths from my 2024 travel
My year in flying: 22 segments & 56K miles.
Not sure what 2025 will bring yet.
Primary Trips: Thailand (Feb), Glacier Natl Park (Aug), Turkmenistan & Uzbekistan (Oct), Turkey (Nov)
Weekend trips to Boston, Grand Rapids, Tampa, and throughout CO/WY
Glacier was by far my highlight, with Mardin TK in 2nd.
No complaints here!
Spent today researching a potential trip to Kauai and holy moly I am cringing at prices. This trip would easily cost double our normal trips. Is it twice as nice as other destinations?
United just announced new nonstop service DEN-BUF starting May 22, which makes my husband happy, which makes me happy. (I am also intrigued by the Denver to Rome route, which feels irrelevant to my life and yet interesting just the same).
Thanks for the cheat sheet!
