Time for a walk, and by 'walk', I mean 'step three feet out the door, unload the bladder, and come right back inside because it's freakin' single-digit temperatures out there, and the snow is up to my neck!'

I had something similar happen to me once or twice in the past. After the snows I looked out the window, saw my drive was already cleared, and I was like, "what?"

Well, I can't stay snowed in forever. Time to bundle up, buckle down, and...

- pay a guy with a shovel walking up to my house 48 bucks to clear my driveway.

The timing was impeccable.

I was there for the '78 blizzard. I was 7. The main thing I remember was ... snow day so school was out, and that the plows piled up a monumental wall of snow outside the school doors, that kids would climb over to get to the parking lot on the other side.

Welp, my hometown beat a record for single-day snow fall set back in 1978.

That is both impressive and very, very, very bad.
