Pancake is telling Flynn the Arcade Fox how to play the arcade dance game Pump It Up. The tutorial Pancake provides suggests that Flynn is a Level 1 player with no dance game experience whatsoever: “Hit the corresponding arrow when it reaches the target.” Flynn chooses a Level 27 chart: While the game actually reaches Level 28, Flynn’s selection is arguably amongst the top 5 hardest charts ever released in the game: Neo Catharsis D27 / Doubles (One player on Both Pads) Level 27.

We see Flynn roughly 1:42 through the song and by this point he has the whole arcade’s attention and Pancake’s deep embarrassment. He is still holding a Full Combo at this point and is looking set to keep it to the end. In real life, only 8 different people have cleared this chart in the 2 years it’s been released. Case in point, I’m trying to suggest that Flynn is this world’s greatest PIU player.
