There's a scene in my script I ended up cutting out that involved trying to make a point by jumping as far as he could. I removed it because I didn't want to oversaturate the story with redundancy, but the concept was still cute enough to give it a pic. #fantasy #donkey #kobold

Finally nipping this in the bud! Apparently I had an errant vector in my font file, which only ever showed up on the website.
Another from the Otayverse, this time stylized after @tysonhesse.bsky.social 's Sonic the Hedgehog. Not sure I knew what I was doing, but I hope it came out alright! Since I drew the figure before even considering making a background, they feel a bit disjointed together, but hey! Maybe it's fine.

One of my favorite books on comics is the famous Understanding Comics by @scottmccloud.bsky.social . Genuinely one of the best resources for learning the art form in and out. Made this to join my cluster of stylized Otays, as it's one of the major inspirations for me as a comic artist.
Decided to expand upon my cluster of restylized drawings and give some of the individuals a proper splash page. So here's Otay in the style of @jeffsmithsbone.bsky.social 's Bone, one of the inspirations for my own comic for its comedic timing, the in-depth world building, and the deeper thematics.

Thus far this has been the most character intensive page out of all of them, with a final character count of 28-37, depending on if you count the mostly-covered characters. On a different note, drawing Kibi being unreasonably annoyed the whole page was a delight.

When I first read through the original comics as a kid, One-Eye dying hit me in a way I don't think I was ready for. I don't think I cried back then, but as an adult it still hits me pretty hard each time I reread it, and yeah, I tear up a good bit.
