a major american city is being forced to close schools because armed government agents are raiding and pepper spraying and terrorizing children and teachers for social media content

This is literally what they do whenever a Black person is killed by police. No matter how solid the evidence is, they will keep pushing that lie, not just to poison the conversation and make sure the killer walks free, but to reassert the political idea that these people deserve to be killed.

We are meeting earlier this week (5:30PM CT) for an extended General Meeting to elect a Solidarity Captain so that we can help our local SBWU with their upcoming strike. We will also be discussing what skills we can bring to the Mutual Aid Fair happening 11/30. Then we have book club from 7-8PM CT.

There were thousands of Springfield Missourians who showed up for our No Kings Protest! Ozarks DSA represented our pre-OC and made some great connections with other orgs and continued to grow our membership.

OZARKS DSA Join us as we show up in support of STUN as city council votes on their Healthy Homes Guarantee rental inspection pilot The city council meeting is replacing our general Monday night meeting. Wear yellow if possible to show your support.

This week, DSA will be meeting at city council (@ Springfield Regional Police & Fire Training Center) to support STUN in getting their Healthy Homes Guarantee initiative passed! Wear yellow if you have it!
