I was not prepared for how much I'm enjoying bootleg JetLag: The Game productions on youtube.
Turkish TK291 from IST to DFW had to divert to DUB today yet it's arriving at DFW with only a 4-5 hour delay;
Dunno how Turkish pulled that off but that's gotta be a great outcome for those passengers. (perhaps the main and relief crew's rest times could be tweaked to stay within limits)
I've always lamented AA's re-banking of DFW after the merger, longing for the days of the rolling hub (introduced ~2008?) which I remember as a much smoother operation. Is this new 13-bank schedule de-peaking DFW and admitting re-banking was unsuccessful?
Whatβs up with Americanβs 737-8 registrations - I just spotted N315UA and I gotta do a double take. Theyβre telling me there wasnβt another suffix more appropriate????
Do better AA: youβre embarrassing your hometown.
QANTAS QF22 DFW-MEL routing thru Arkansas and Kansas tonight due to storms - Iβm wondering if
a.can the789 really make it nonstop
b.could it be the longest flight in the world today?

"Heterosexuality?
In this economy?!"
Favorite phrase seen at Dallas Pride Festival yesterday
This one's a reach, but my fav was an Aeromexico E-190 XA-GAF, which I always read as "Gay As F*ck." (Since re-registered as ZS-YZB)

Additionally, these two QR A35ks make me cackle every time I see them on FR24:
A7-ANO(traducir al espaΓ±ol)
&
A7-ANL
The second half presents a super-workable fix for most legacy parts of US/Canadian cities, especially the core(w/i Loop12) of Dallas. It'll never happen, but fun to think about youtu.be/ba2nA-NIWRA?...
The 737MAX winglets look like the equivalent of flames painted on the sides of a Dodge Neon.
A little disappointing that Cathay Pacific CX876 arrived on 13R, but at least the skies cleared for a beautiful evening of plane spotting at DFW.
What's in the water in Dallas making American and Southwest both underperforming financially relative to their peers? DFW and DAL see flight volumes and airlines that I could only dream of 20 years ago, yet my two hometown airlines are punchlines.
What do y'all think the chances of DAL expanding?
Caught the United 737-900 at Love Field last night, dunno why it was here but too cool to see the Evo Blue livery at DAL - brought back memories of taking Continental Express from DAL.
Perhaps one day there will be meaningful scheduled service other than Southwest there (it's 96% today!)
@flightradar24.com I'm rather enjoying the new filtering system being standard across all platforms - now to remember how to multi-select!
Missing in the Korean Air new livery discourse is that Aeromexicoβs new livery is fantastic!
Brain freeze double-take seeing the new Korean Air logo on travel searches
I don't hate it, but brain's gonna take a sec to normalize it
One of my favorite days: after the equinox when daylight is juuuust more than night
π€© SPRING π
I think airlines should get rid of in-seat video screens:
-the control box blocks legroom in the window seat
&
-Swissair 111 - airplanes need to keep hot wires to a minimum
In-seat power and Bring-Your-Own-Device is solid.
Place a moving map on the bulkhead like back in the day
Party over at Southwest Airlines, indeed.
Another great airline fucked by corporate raiders
Continental barely survived it, but TWA, Eastern and others were crushed by the ridiculous demands, antagonistic labor relations, and sell-asset myopia.
Iβll miss the un-Wall-Street-ized Southwest β€οΈ
Having only been an NBA fan since 2013, I really enjoyed this podcast trip down memory lane - itβs hard to just read the history with so many moving parts, and this episode provided a fun framework to understand different teamsβ seasons
Such a gem the Ritsurin Gardens are, especially that awesome train line to get there from Takamatsu station. I had the pleasure of visiting Ritsurin during August's heat wave, and while it was gorgeous and awesomely hot, I'd wondered how pretty spring would be there
Even my transportation nerd youtube channels are clowning the mavs!
The Mavs now have 2019βs best squad!
I always thought I should be a Clippers fan - I love ships and SoCal
The joy I felt seeing a Fiji Airways ad during a Clippers home game π€
Amazing distillation of the problem with parking requirements in Dallas:
