I discussed today at #AGS2023 how the lack of standards amongst subjective author opinions makes it difficult to effectively compare games. Reviews play an especially crucial role in marketing indie games, so it’s cool to see press considering/implementing clearer structures for readers to review 😉

I was having this exact discussion with someone today! Reviews play such an important role in marketing indie games especially, but there’s no set standard amongst subjective author opinions that allow us to effectively “compare” these games. Super cool to see press implementing clearer structures!
