Within the last few hours. (Adding both because I don't remember which one was last. π)

A mere speck in the universe. Love 1970s prog rock. Jethro Tull fanatic/Tullevangelist. Basement bassist. Ailurophile. Kitchen prose, gutter rhymes, divers. Harmonium/Serge Fiori-obsessed. NoVA, USA (Background check me on Twitter @ChristineRitc)
Within the last few hours. (Adding both because I don't remember which one was last. π)
N.I.B. - Black Sabbath
Harmonium (from QuΓ©bec)
My eye was drawn to it, unsurprisingly! I did actually see you had other things. π
Nice collection!
Nice UHQR Aqualung there! π€©
This one is incredible. Some great Italian prog here!
One of my absolute favorite Harmonium songs*, purely for the emotion in Serge Fiori's voice.
*Most of their songs have been my favorite at some point or another.

Well, maybe we can see how extroverted I feel that day. π
Haha! Thanks but I doubt I would add anything of value to the party. :)
Just by that one screenshot, it looks like you all had a blast. (Love the helmet too, and the cat lol.)
If you stream it, I will be sure to book my place in the audience section for next time.
This is awesome!!
Mike always representing Tull too. :)
(Oops, didn't realize I'd replied to such an old post, haha. Recopying it here.)
Ian Anderson.
Heard a song on the radio around 1991/1992 and went out that afternoon to buy 3 Jethro Tull CDs.
Jethro Tull, forever π
I don't know why but I always thought you were in NY. But now that you mention it, AZ rings a bell. My aging brain, lol.
That is a damned shame about the lack of record stores where you are. Though I've been to a lot in NJ, NY, VA, MD, and PA, there aren't a whole lot I would make a second visit to
You need to find a store like Princeton Record Exchange in your area to use as bait. π
I will leave them to you in my will. π
Another song served up by the streaming service algorithm.
I loved this one immediately and thought for sure it was from the 1960s. Turned out it's from 2015, which makes it one of the two most current songs on my main playlist. (The other is also Jean Leloup.)

Agreed π
Merci! π
This is all extremely scarce in the US. So my friend picks stuff up for me in QuΓ©bec & I pick stuff up for him in the US. We meet up in New Jersey, settle up what we owe, & go to record stores. π
(I was given the book - which I can't read but am happy to have - and one of the L'heptades.)
Yessssss! This is such a wonderful album!
I need to familiarize myself with it more. I especially love Viens Danser.
You can spot my copy below π - though I now realize I need to find the XL version!
Love the articles, Chris! Always appreciate you posting them.
Thanks, Mike! It probably sounds weird but I am truly honored to be able to be there.
It's more than just music; Harmonium is very important culturally so I'm also looking forward to Patrice's report! π
If I do, I'll let you know :)
Oh totally! I am so grateful just to experience this, doesn't matter where the seat is.
When I found about about the concert, it was already sold out. My friend found they added the second show when I was looking into seeing Seul Ensemble. Still might go see that, both for the music and for this:
Wow! Great seats!
I am going with a friend from Twitter who lives in QuΓ©bec and he likes the last row so I'm bringing my mini binoculars. But at least I'll have someone to translate anything interesting they say on stage. π
You must have gotten in there quick - I heard that show sold out fast! I know how important Serge/Harmonium is there so I'm really happy you are going.
I've also become a big fan of Louis Valois and am thrilled I will get to see him play live.
Awesome!! I'm going too! The Sunday afternoon show, after they added another date.
I was going to drive up and back (4 hours each way) from my brother's house in NY but decided to stay in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu for 2 nights instead. Figured it was safer.
I'm so glad you're able to see this!
I bought the XLV box set and still just listen to the original. I can only imagine you must feel about it, haha!
I mostly listen to the XL L'heptade because that's the only one available when I stream the music. But I find myself preferring the live En tournΓ©e album. They were SO GOOD live!
Patrice, are you going to the L'heptade 50th anniversary concert in May? It's at Theatre St Denis in MontrΓ©al.
Louis, Monique, Serge (Locat), and Libert will be performing.
Also, part of the fun for me as I delved deeper into Harmonium is googling the lyrics and following along, as well as translating them to get an idea of the meaning.
While I don't speak the language, I can sure appreciate the poetry of the Quebec French lyrics. They're beautiful.
