What I like about the half moon phase is that the craters on the moon look more prominent and the scene is more dramatic since half of the moon is illuminated while the other half is dark.
Reprocessed some moon images, and I'm happy with the results. The half moon in HDR. Used panorama stiching to take multiple sections of the moon, and then stitched them together as a panorama to overcome image blur caused by chromatic aberation in the telescope lens.

Gonna back with the waning gibbous phase, this is one of my favourite moon phases. Hopefully relatively clear nights in the next month

Back in July, some of my favourite photos were taken during these months. This photo was taken in just one frame with some processing on a clear night. It has to be my favourite moon photo right now.

Finishing up my workflow of the Moon. August and September are my ideal months to photograph the moon as the climate tends to be dry and the clarity of the sky can be relatively good. the chances of getting clear skies are also increased.

Didn't get a super moon this November, even though this is the last super moon in 2024. However, the day before the super moon the sky was clear so I could take the moon. The sky has been cloudy lately and my area has entered the rainy season. very few get clear skies here.
