The State of Elixir Survey for 2025 is live!
elixir-survey.typeform.com/2025-edition
Fill it out if you have any connection to the Elixir ecosystem. It really helps us understand what happens. Curiosum are awesome to run this for the community.

With the AWS outage, nowβs as good a time as any to post this old strip.
I just released the very first version of drops_inflector for #ElixirLang! π
It's a port of dry-inflector (surprise surprise). It's cool and it supports acronyms, so:
Drops.Inflector.classify("api_host")
"APIHost"
Give it a β and try it out!
I had high hopes for Surge.sh. But it goes down too often. :( Netlify it is...
Learn to code. Because it teaches you how to think.
Learn to leverage AI. Because it helps you get ahead of competition.
Learn to build. Because the best way to predict the future is to invent it.
Learn to sell. Because even the best ideas donβt spread themselves.
Exciting news! Zed now has native Git support starting from v0.177. Designed for speed, Git-native functionality, and a keyboard-first workflow.
Nice to see some NodeJS peeps hearing the Good News about Elixir: d-gate.io/blog/everyth...
Great work!

OpenAI right now
Upgraded phoenix project to elixir 1.18. Using JSON instead of Jason. Everything else went smooth. #ElixirLang
Upgraded to phoenix Liveview 1.0 and changing all the the things to {} #ElixirLang
My preferred development workflow for 2024:
1. All devs have their own DB instance. The DBs run locally, and can be reset via static SQL scripts via a single command. The scripts are committed to source control. So, we can code without internet, demo reliably, repro bugs, and write reliable tests.

Greenfield project. Chose phoenix liveview because I could use whatever I want. πͺπ½ππ½π

Ahhh I see. Understandable. We can be patient then. :)
Thatβs odd. I donβt know. Iβve seen that on others too. Might be a @bsky.app bug at the moment?
Screwdrivers are going to make hammers obsolete. Silly right? That's what most tech discussions turn into.
