Ran into the crew of NASA's Artemis 2 mission in advance of the State of the Union.
Very soon, these American heroes will become the first humans to orbit the Moon in over 50 years!

The administration just announced new tariffs that will drive up everyday costs for working families. Now tariffs are being used to pressure our NATO allies over Greenland.
These are our closest partners. Undermining that trust carries real consequences for Americaβs economy and diplomacy.
Wildfires are the biggest issues facing our communities, and our entire country. As we mark the anniversary of last yearβs devastating fires, here are the five areas we need to work on now.
I went into the burn zone earlier last year to hear directly from our firefighters and neighbors. Wildfires are burning faster than ever, our firefighters are stretched thin, and our communities are vulnerable. Listen to our conversation here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=z0E4...
One year ago today, wildfires tore through our communities. We lost lives, homes, and businesses, and many families are still searching for relief.
My congratulations to Jared Isaacman, who was just confirmed as NASA Administrator.
NASA needs dedicated, inspired leadership that appreciates the different missions of the agency, from exploration to science to aeronautics.
I look forward to working with Administrator Isaacman on these goals.
Iβm praying for the victims and survivors in Providence today, the 13th anniversary of Sandy Hook. We are failing the next generation β we must do more to advance gun safety.
Iβve gotten to know Mia, who was shot in the Saugus school shooting, and she is an incredible young leader. The thought that she, and others, have now gone through another attack is unconscionable.

From my family to yours, Happy Thanksgiving! Wishing everyone a warm, safe, and restful holiday with the people you love. π¦π
As we head into the Thanksgiving holiday, prices are continuing to climb.
Why is this happening? Let me walk you through it:
This administration continues to use their political power to target opponents β a dangerous and un-American tactic that we must all speak out against.

Unfortunately, the bill we voted on last night -- after the House has been out of session for nearly TWO MONTHS -- does nothing to tackle rising costs and the health care crisis facing millions of families across America. I opposed the bill, and I will keep fighting for my district.
For weeks, I asked my colleagues to return to Washington and work with me to reopen the government, bring costs down, and protect health care.
The Admin. just made an appeal to the Supreme Court because it does not want to feed hungry Americans.
And the Supreme Court just agreed!
It is unconscionable that the Admin. is fighting this.
And for the Court to not realize that hungry people can't wait days for food ... Just unbelievable.
An update on where things stand - health care premiums are about to double for millions of Americans, and Speaker Johnson has kept his caucus out of D.C. for almost an entire month.
Large, peaceful, positive crowds at yesterday's No Kings rallies in the Santa Clarita and Antelope Valleys.
Lots of veterans, lots of young people, lots of patriots.
All concerned about our democracy, our healthcare and our economy.
A nurse, cancer survivor, and mother from our district shared the many ways she depends on ACA tax credits. Without an extension, sheβll lose access to critical care.
We have a responsibility to protect affordable, accessible health care for her, and for every family who depends on it.
Iβll continue to fight cuts to NASA and other science agencies, and urge my colleagues on both sides of the aisle to stand united against this misguided war on science. Our future depends on it.
With NASA now forced to scale back key research and exploration programs, we are not only hurting our local L.A. County community, but our national security and global competition.
This is part of a broader assault on science across the Administration. We should be strengthening national treasures like JPL β not devastating JPL workers and their families with layoffs.
Letβs be clear: these layoffs are happening because the Trump administration is still cutting science at NASA.

Iβm heading back to Washington ready to work, but for the 3rd straight week, Speaker Johnson has canceled all activity in the House.
So I want to give you a sense of where we are, whatβs on the line, & why itβs so important that we come back to D.C.

Thatβs unacceptable. Iβll continue working with local, state, and federal partners to lower energy costs, create good-paying jobs, and move our energy sector forward.
Instead, it represents a dangerous move by the President to punish states that disagree with him politically, regardless of the economic harm to the Americans who live there.
This decision β which includes projects that would have created hundreds of jobs in our district β does nothing to address rising energy costs or strengthen American energy independence.

Republican leadership β who currently control the House, the Senate, and the White House β have refused to negotiate with us, so I wanted to share exactly what these health care cuts will mean for our district.
Iβm back in D.C. ready to work with anyone to reverse the GOPβs extreme health care cuts and pass a budget that lowers costs for American families.
Between cuts to SNAP and rising grocery costs, families across the country are struggling to afford basic necessities. We should be working on lowering costs and making life easier for our communities, not ripping health care and food away from those who need it most.
