I’d meant to share this earlier, but this is how I get the card shots for our deck techs. I love how these videos look. It takes 60-90mins depending on the video, just for these shots, but I think it’s worthwhile.

Tweaked up the Ultron deck to experiment w/ how consistently I can “bad thing -> good thing.” Merlin + Sersi included as alternate change-cons. Will obvs need to be changed for more meta-relevant pieces but a good starting point to have fun with.

This is a great example of gatekeeping, and it happens among nerd hobbies frequently. The idea that "the thing I'm a fan of can never do anything I don't like and anyone who likes those things isn't a real fan" is toxic and harmful.

“How do I win without my commander?” It’s really encouraged me to think about theme and finding/creating lines over the years, and the deck as a whole as opposed to built around the one card.

I spent my post-work day in my local library, reading Dragon Ball Super for like six straight hours. Things we know but important to reiterate:

1. Toriyama was a global treasure and a genius.

2. Vegeta is so fucking good.

Whose idea was it to change the rule to where you had to declare the offside kick beforehand? Why aren’t we more upset about that? Who wanted that?
