Google killing Reader really destroyed the old web.

This sounds like a bizarre heist story. 😮
the party that wants to require ID to vote abruptly invalidating a thousand people’s IDs overnight seems like a pretty giant flashing red light
They are both lovely! In my uneducated opinion the first feels more documentarian and the second tells more of a story.
So after Trump pardoned Honduras's narco-president, the admin didn't just let him out--they canceled an immigration hold and sent a specialized team to **chauffeur him to the $1k/night Waldorf Astoria.**

Even this is a massive understatement of the actual costs, since all of those things require advance planning, paperwork, and (in some cases) scheduling document retrievals (often only possible during work hours). The cost doesn't have to be high in dollars to be a prohibitive tax on voters.
Baltimore: if you have or know someone who has a little time and inclination: we need more folks to serve on the board of the last remaining conservatory in our city.
We are a small and scrappy board and we need to build up our numbers to be more effective !
Yup. Always do a search for a coupon as you are in the checkout line if you choose to buy anything for them.

CONGRATS!! You all deserve it! ❤️🔥
Top of Civil Rights Division, Justice.gov official website: "Justice Department Sues Arizona and Connecticut for Failure to Produce Voter Rolls." This is the US government pursuing a senile racist criminal president’s retribution agenda against perceived enemies over imaginary voter fraud. Nothing about civil rights. Nothing about Black struggle since the nation’s founding. It’s 4:46 AM on MLK Day. No mention of MLK.
“Action Center” encourages MAGA visitors to provide “evidence” of non-citizens voting in elections, complain that they lost scholarships due to (reverse, anti-white) racism, were sterilized by transgender hormones, were “affected” by DEI (for MAGA folks who feel they lost out for being white, but can’t point to scholarships they lost out on because nobody would believe that—or they don’t know about it), school participation in antisemitism (not actual antisemitism; criticism of Israeli government will suffice in this rare case where Nazis pretend to like Jews because they hate Palestinians even more), and so on. Happy MLK Day from your favorite fascist dictator.
What’s wrong with this picture? An MLK Day visit to the US gov Civil Rights website. Instead of the actual civil rights struggle or Dr King, carousel at top highlights bogus “stop the steal” vendettas, and CTAs below intersperse more of same with white racist talking points. 1/6
There isn't a parade tomorrow, the city now has the Baltimore City Black History Month Parade in February - www.baltimorecity.gov/bhm2026
Have you been on Lake Roland in the kayak? Amazing spot to float and observe birds!
Yes it did! If I recall that was allowed as a compromise since it was too soon to reschedule everything and the expectation it would never happen again.

Ah ok I did hear about that one yesterday! Unless there are two... which is certainly possible 😅
Is there another one today??
It was at least heading the opposite direction of us.
Walking down Falls Road is always an adventure. Today's encounter involved a gold sedan blasting Tiny Tim's "Tiptoe through the Tulips" where the driver was in full scary clown regalia.
It seems shockingly far reaching and it may get stuck lower areas. Walking around yesterday Woodberry near the river smelled awful, but the Moorish Tower at Druid Hill Park was normal.

It's nice to drop them off and go to the Senator as a treat.
Went to an Os game there in May! Played us out to Semisonic's Closing Time, much to my delight.
Ha! Then yes that's Zelda!
Sorry for the odd question, but is this an older picture? I think I know this dog, but they no longer live at that house.
I'm mad about a lot of real things these days, but in this moment I'm extra incensed over the Blue Jays setup behind home plate. The luxury seats and the widescreen ad are devoid of spirit. I fear the Os will end up with something similarly soul sucking next season.
I know everyone is consumed with other news, but this is a big fucking deal: The Trump administration says that IUDs and the Pill are actually abortions.
Here's what USAID told the NYT about the $10m in birth control they plan to destroy.
