At least most of the games don't fall into the very specific set of circumstances laid out in the patent, but there are definitely some, and now Nintendo can go back and retroactively demand money to license that patent. Ugh. -_-

How the hell did they even get this patent approved when it applies to HUNDREDS OF GAMES going back decades? Is there no prior art protection clause in the US?
