Wall appointed to governor’s task force on energy policy - UNC Institute for the Environment The task force will make recommendations for the state's energy policies.

Earlier this year, Gov. Josh Stein appointed @unc-ie.bsky.social + NC Collaboratory's Steve Wall to the new North Carolina Energy Policy Task Force. The task force will deliver a set of recommendations to Stein in February 2026.

Hsu, DDL awarded $1 million to advance AI accountability in climate reporting - UNC Institute for the Environment The grant will expand the DDL’s work through its CLAIM center.

A new grant from the Hewlett Foundation expands the work of the Data-Driven EnviroLab in addressing misinformation and greenwashing in AI as well as the societal impacts of generative AI.
