Why are non-Black voters so OFFENDED by the idea that Black voters are requiring people to work for our votes, too?

We are long overdue in making the Democrats prove they are the best option for Us. (And not just "the lesser evil")

This lady gets it.

Everything this person said is about identity politics. Pretending it isn't helps no one. Also, LGBTQ+ people should Never ever trust people who say shit like this.

I’m not mad. I’m indifferent.

I’m indifferent because it’s blowing my mind that people are still just assuming that Black Voters are just going to fall in line and keep saving them from their own damn demographic.

Y’all said them folks would vote for him so it’s on y’all to make it happen.

Folks have ran around for months saying that Crockett was not “electable“ to the majority of ⚪️ & moderate voters in TX and now they’re surprised to find out that “electability“ can work both ways?

Baaaaaaby…TX is the blackest state in the country but they just now realized this could be a problem?

What happened in Texas was awful and I’m a little gleeful about the fact that it backfired on Ken Paxton, who now has a runoff while we don’t

Can we celebrate that for the next two months Republicans in Texas are gonna be focusing on a runoff election and we get to go directly into the general.

That is such a huge leg up in a state that we are going to have a real uphill battle.

I never said for Black people to sit out the vote.

I said Black people need to sit out of GOTV, phone calls, canvassing, post cards, door knocking etc.

If Talarico can't win this election without capturing White & Latino votes in November, why is he there? Whites & Latinos =80% of TX's population.

If you're a Democrat and you don't care about voter suppression, you're LOUDLY telling on yourself.

I just viewed the Epstein files. A few things are clear:

1. Trump’s name is all over them.
2. The DOJ is breaking the law and denying the victims justice.
3. A single 3-hour viewing was not enough time. I will be back.

If you have questions, let me know in the comments.

Its depressing as hell but I have to note what happened in Arkansas.

That is absolutely insane in a good way. Congratulations 🎊 to you folks.

NC did right in their primary. Great job!

It’s all fun and games until the Black Folks don’t show up to vote🤷🏾‍♀️

Honestly…l would not blame a single Black Democrat in TX for staying home in November. Not. A. Single. One.

The last 2 years has been exhausting & at some point we need to get off the high road.

The biggest outcome I can see from this is Democrats do NOT wait until election day to vote.

I don't care if you've always done it. I don't care if it's tradition in your family.

Get. That. Vote. Locked. Before. Election. Day.

She's not a Nazi. Everything else is noise. You want to find someone else acceptable to vote for by June, fine. Platner isn't it. This is not negotiable.

Should be concerned. Very concerned 😟That is embarrassing and welcome to Mississippi, Texas.

I hold bias like anyone else but I can't look at those races in that state as a whole and say with confidence it was fair. Because it wasn't. For those taking Victory lpas, it will be short lived. Have at it

Mixed bag today. Arkansas and North Carolina showed the fuck out.

In Texas, everything is deeply flawed no matter what anyone says. This is a problem that will cause issues within the party and across the country for the next few years. Anyone who is in the Poli Sci department and Legal field

think that’s cause for celebration?

For the folks in the back…

Are you going to celebrate again in November when they pull this bullshit again or you haven’t figured out this was a test run?

Btw…add Harris County to the list in November and NO DEMOCRAT STANDS A CHANCE.

Madness!

I never thought I would see the day that “democrats” were giddy over outright voter suppression.

Are these folks insane? They hate BW in power so much that they don’t realize what just happened?

They are literally telling you that 2 hours worth of votes will probably not be counted and y’all

Results: Progressives win all four of these primaries, ousting incumbents Cunningham, Willingham, and Majeed, while Pierce held off Wray’s comeback.

Why are so many people acting like any of this is normal?

2 hours of voting ballots are being held and probably won’t be counted.

People literally had their right to cast their vote taken away and alleged democrats are taking victory laps because Black Voters were disenfranchised?

No matter how Texas turns out tonight- I encourage my fellow 92% to reflect on 2024 & this primary- then move with those who can expand enough to redefine “electable”…

And I HOPE we move forward boldly. So far we’ve been told if we show up for everyone else- they’ll show up for us…

Not anymore.

I’m not here for any voter suppression or holding votes hostage.

If that’s gonna be your thing, go ahead and block me now.

I won’t tolerate it from leftists, I won’t tolerate it from Do Something, and I won’t tolerate it from people I generally agree with.

We MUST crush Republicans.

White progressives have been kind of gross toward Jasmine Crockett and her supporters. And yet, are going to expect Black voters to just fall in line in November. Which will be wild to watch from the "earn our votes" crowd. So, lots of luck with that.

04.03.2026 03:41 👍 188 🔁 53 💬 9 📌 0

Is anyone who is already calling Texas aware that the majority of votes in are early in person and day of votes and by mail are pretty much not in anywhere?

Which is really fucking weird by the way

IT IS LITERALLY TOO EARLY TO CALL

I'm a Talarico supporter (though I love Crockett too).

It's reprehensible that in Texas, and in red states across the nation, Black neighborhood voting locations have been closed. This is a Trump / GOP thing. Voting should be free and fair for all.

This is holy shit levels of bad.

It's also a great indicator of the administration's incompetence. The Iraq War was initially very popular with the American public -- because the Bush administration took the time to sell it, on the press shows and at the UN.

And if the GOP were not afraid of Jasmine Crockett, they wouldn't have messed with polling locations in Black areas. Black folks aren't going to forget this. At this point, as the other communities are getting their asses kicked by Trump, I wish all Black politicians would stay silent. They got this

We must understand that Bibi doesn't care about Israel like Trump doesn't care about America. Hamas doesn't care about Palestine like Putin doesn't care about Russia or Ukraine.

It's all about power.

Target was wildly popular with suburban moms, and the vast majority of that demographic have a queer person, a sibling, cousin, neighbor, friend, their own child or one of their kid's friends regularly in their home. Target's all out pride was a huge selling point

and they burned that support down
