A Minnesota woman observing ICE agents in her car was cornered on one-way streets. An agent approached, called her by name—citing facial recognition. Days later, her Global Entry and TSA privileges were revoked, with no explanation.

Charging a Black journalist under the KKK Act for reporting on a protest is a whole new level of fucked up.

"In theater" is a military term that refers to a wartime theater of operations. ICE and CBP agents are in Minnesota, which is one of the United States. The enemy in this military operation are citizens of Minnesotans and the United States.

Again, there is no legislative fix for the magnitude of the authoritarian crimes being committed daily. Everyone is just pretending at this point:

Bovino's demotion is not justice and doesn't mean the fight is even winding down. What it does show, though, is that we can make them blink - and when you're in a fight and your opponent blinks, you swing *again*.

It's definitely a win. We need more, but it's a win.

The more I think about it, the more I’m convinced the Democrats have to push their hand immediately. The parallels with the delays and subsequent failures after January 6th are blaring warning signs about what will happen if they don’t go after the issues with ICE and CBP at the root RIGHT NOW.
