Just got sent this article written by John Scalzi - another author I admire (read Redshirts - it's amazing). But he's right.

Funny, I've spent 15 years in television production. I've met actors, artists, celebrities, sportsmen... did not care a jot. But authors have always been different for me.

To think this was only a month ago. Now I'm seriously considering throwing the book out rather than have it be on my bookshelves.

I believe the Vulture article about Gaiman. Throughout my life, I've revered the authors who create incredible new worlds & characters to love. And now...I’ve heard ‘separate the creator from their creation’ so often I could spit. No one explains how to deal with the unaccountable sense of betrayal.

Talk about being late to the party, but I finally watched Cocaine Bear today and, you know what? Masterpiece. Movie of our era. 😂
