Not one Republican elected official in Brooklyn has denounced this vile video. That includes Assemblyman Alec Brook-Krasny who represents a very diverse district that includes Coney Island, Bay Ridge and Brighton Beach. His silence speaks volumes.
This is absolutely vile. Any Brooklyn Republican not denouncing this should really stop pretending they are able to represent a district in New York. This does not fly here.

In the coming months, I’ll be laying out my plans to improve the lives of all New Yorkers but you can rest assured they will not include tax breaks for billionaires or corrupt giveaways to favored corporations.
Last year, my opponent Alec Brook-Krasny promised to lower prices and make your life more affordable. What has he done since? Nothing. He passed zero bills in Albany and brought no funding back to the district.
With everything going on nationally, people need someone who opens their district office (unlike the incumbent) and is around to help navigate the chaos Washington keeps throwing our way.
Next year, I will be running for Assembly in the 46th District, which includes Bay Ridge, Dyker Heights, Coney Island, Sea Gate & Brighton Beach. Our neighborhoods deserve someone who will go to Albany to fight for resources and to pass laws to make NY more affordable for all.
The scariest part about Lander being arrested is that we can all see what happened. We can hear him asking to see a warrant and not resisting. We can all see a bunch of guys without badges wearing masks arresting him. It's scary because we can see it all and they don't even care.
What happened today in Minnesota is horrific because of the loss of life & what it says about our country today. I don't want to hear any "whatabouts" trying to deflect or score political points. Don't be a ghoul. Be human. Any kind of political violence hurts our democracy.

There's a line here, and some will say it was crossed and others won't or don't care, but it's important we know all understand those facts.
Coney Island and Brighton Beach are getting screwed here by Republicans. New York State needs to step it up if Washington is going to cut funding where it's gravely needed. This is life and death and local Brooklyn GOP are still obsessed over gender neutral bathrooms.
