Guess thatβs why Lin-Sivvi and Ravenous Baloth are not dominating the format.

Question: when playing pre-modern do you play with the current rules or with the rules back when the cards were standard legal (damage stack, legendary rules, etc,)?
I understand the issue but the original philosophy back then was that allies are stronger than enemies, thus more ally-colored lands than enemies. When I built an orzhov cleric deck from onslaught block, I used flooded strand & polluted delta and it worked fine.
Iβm surprise they didnβt ban dreadnought or stifle since that combo is dominating. Happy that tide is gone though.
Same here. Stopped following and collecting UB since Final Fantasy when they became standard legal.
I checked and itβs all organized.
Also, all of the Lorwyn/Shadowmoor cards that spiked recently due to hype of this set are going to be reprinted in the commander decks as I have predicted.
OMG! The Lorwyn Eclipse trailer came out today and itβs AWESOME!!!!!! A collaboration with Jim Henson and Magic is exactly what we want. The singing rocks!

Then βPlanar Chaosβ from Judgment, then βHour of Devastationβ from Hour of Devastation, then βMarch of the Machinesβ from Mirrodin . . .
lol! Itβs referring to the card Foil from Prophecy.
played at all due to being too expensive for what she does. (2/2)
Garruk was the most played in any green deck during its standard time, Ajani was in the mono-white Kithkin during LRW/SHM block, Liliana was in the 5-color control deck full of commands, Jace didnβt shine until it was used against its WWK version due to legendary rule, and Chandra wasnβt (1/2)
Why did Doubling Cube go from $20 to almost $900? And why only the 10E version while the other 3 versions remain in the $20βs? This isnβt a card on the reserved list. Why the artificial increase?
In Bellingham celebrating my birthday.
I just saw the 2nd Wicked movie. Highly recommend it! The song βno good deedβ is this movieβs defying gravityβ
I didnβt know there was such a movie. What a find! Sounds like it was what inspired the Kozmo archetype in Yu-Gi-Oh!
While I know that the conversation is about hybrid mana, what about split cards? Research // Discovery is a Temur (URG) but can we be allowed to play it in Izzet or Simic decks as long as you play the fraction thatβs aligned to your color identity?
The official one on YouTube is edited. But if you scroll down, it has the original one labeled βpromo only.β Itβs 6 min long.
Reminds me of the Extended format before Wizard replaced it with Modern. After its last rotation (TSP-DKA), it was like a bigger standard with their dominating decks, which made people not enjoy it (ex. UB fae w/ Jace). I took my ALA-ZEN standard Jund deck and just needed to replace a few cards.
Geno Suarez hits a Grand Slam to put the Mariners up 6-2 and seal Game 5 of the ALCS!

Cool to know! Thanks!
So, it means with βEnter the Dungeonβ or βShahrazad,β it will only end that sub game, but not the official game?
I donβt think that combo works. Solemnity works with Dark Depths and Phyrexian Unlife. Divine Intervention requires you to remove a counter to trigger its draw. Since it enters without any counters and you canβt add any, it does nothing. I may be wrong - itβs oracle textβs not updated.

Are you talking about that South Park episode?
I guess the prices are up because the sandwich is now the symbol of resistance π.
I think many people will be dressed as Gladys from βWeaponsβ and will be running with their arms waving in the air, wailing.
I want to have fun costumes this year. This year is depressing and donβt want to contribute to that with a dark horror costume like the reaper or a slasher character.
I got mine - for work, something fun like inflatable T-Rex and for nighttime, something sexy like a toga.
Iβve built that deck back when it was affordable, and Iβll tell you this - that deck was INSANE!!! Many times, Iβve pulled the combo on my 1st turn and won. Definitely the most powerful Standard deck of all time.
Iβm assuming itβs because wizards will never reprint the product, so itβs one-of-a-kind thatβs out-of-print (same for all sealed products). The cards themselves will be reprinted multiple times, so itβs cheaper to get individuals and replicate the deck from there.
