Testing, testing. Here is a Retool post from AI Build week.
Testing, testing. Here is a Retool post from AI Build week.
Surprising no one, I've built a Retool workflow for this 😅
Demo'd OpenRouter's auto-model selection at Retool's webinar last week and it blew my mind.
Asked for a joke (2.5s response) then "how many r's in strawberry?"
OpenRouter automatically switched to R1 for reasoning and took 89s to solve it correctly!

Yessssss 🔥
Wow, Claude got really good at generating complicated SVGs (and taking feedback well) when I wasn't looking...
Well done @anthropic.com 🎉
Congrats! You've been a dev advocating for open source and WordPress as long as I've known you, so I know you're going to crush this! 🚀
For sure, yeah that's why I created a throwaway channel. Unlisted would work the same way though, I suppose! And then you wouldn't have to manage two different channels.
Been feeling the same lately. I created a throwaway YouTube channel just so I can post longer videos and link them here.
Boom Supersonic's experimental XB-1 aircraft has surpassed Mach 1 for the first time in its latest test flight. It's another step toward the possible return of supersonic commercial flights more than two decades after the Concorde's retirement. 🧪

That's an amazing feeling 💪
Had my first instance of this (after 8+ years of public speaking, guesting on podcasts, etc) last week when I watched myself back on a recent podcast appearance!
A very new feeling for me haha
The image depicts a monumental statue of Buddha, emphasizing serenity and grandeur. The statue's intricate design captures traditional Buddhist features, including a meditative posture with hands placed in a symbolic gesture, flowing robes, and a calm facial expression exuding peace. The perspective highlights the statue's immense size against a minimalistic white sky background, underscoring its significance as a spiritual and cultural landmark.

This is an attempt to consolidate the dizzying rate of AI developments since Christmas. If you're into AI but not deep enough, this should get you oriented again.

Ahh fair, yeah that might be a solid use case for it. Was doing something similar with a specific email template format recently.
Found that context windows and Sonnet were good enough to understand what I wanted with a couple before/after examples in the prompt, so I'd say that's worth a shot!
👀 What made you look at the fine-tuning route vs just few shot prompting?
That was an all-timer, for sure.
They were the reason I spent probably way too many hours putting together a trailer for my new YouTube series.
Mine didn't even come close but was waaaay better than anything I had done before 😅
🤯 MacWhisper just transcribed ~20 mins of video in about 3 minutes completely locally.
Guess I need to get one of these new M4 chips for my personal machine.
The creative process is a combination of the creative tasks (initial idea, writing, etc) and the tedious tasks (outlining, distribution, etc).
AI helps make the tedious parts of the process easier so you can focus on your creativity.

the absolutely most absurd thing about AI rn is that distillation can **improve** the model
1. start with a BAM (Big Ass Model)
2. generate training data
3. train a TAM (Tiny Ass Model) on the synthetic data
seems like it breaks information theory until you view it as a gradient
The "Crawl → Walk → Run → Fly" framework for agencies starting with AI:

Excited to see this live! We covered a lot, so give it a listen!
You got this! Excited to take a look later
Yuuup. So real haha
Just published my first one today and that's where I'm at. I saw so many ways to make it better, but just going to try and apply those to the next one!
Same here. Digging in and discovering there's _so_ much to learn.
🔥 Just dropped: Watch me build an AI tool that turns academic papers into engaging blog posts! Using Retool and Anthropic's Claude, we'll go from PDF upload to polished blog post faster than you can say "publish."

Watching yourself back on a video recording truly never gets less painful. I already have so many ideas about how to make the next one better, but gotta ship the first one first!
🎉🎉🎉
This was a fun one to write!
Appreciate it! 🙏
