There are certain areas in Berlin I would not go without a flak jacket and some countermeasures during NYE. Rockets go sideways, illegal polish firecrackers blow your eardrums out and equally illegal gas pistols shoot fireworks in your face. So horrible.

I find it’s actually better than any pizza I’ve had in 2y of living in Naples as well - dough is top notch, ingredients are simple and of high quality, execution is perfect… can’t do better in Naples old town :)

Haven’t been back since I was little. Probably some 30 years ago. But in my memory it was something I would really enjoy today. The water was always so clear and nice. The island of Mainau has loads of flowers (sooo boring when you’re 10 😅)

I used to go ti Lake Constance a lot as a kid to visit family - so pretty, although I didn’t appreciate it much back then. Soooo many boring walks. 😅

Yes and that was what attracted us to this region. Maybe in some way it is an “easier” way into the country than being dropped from Köln Mühlheim or wherever directly into Delhi center 😅

I basically did the opposite - avoided the north and started with Kerala due to an article in Süddeutsche Zeitung (I think) about the “socialist paradise”… it’s not quite that but there are so many metrics by which people here are better off than the Average Indian. Still, I’d love to see the rest!
