This year's Chroma Zone wraps up today - it doesn't mean it ends in general. (This confusion has happened in other years). There were a lot of events in the Zone today, and elsewhere in the Twin Cities. What a busy day! Lots of people out and about.

Charney's mural is a show-stopper as you enter the Creative Enterprise Zone from highway 280 or Franklin. Wundr's purple cat and friends greet people as they enter the Zone on Prior from Merriam Park. (Guzmán's is just north of Wundr's.)

Public art is often wasted on plaza sculptures. Cities should use art budgets for murals on blank walls, which, like trees, make streets more pleasant and welcoming.

All of these are on private land, rather than in the public right of way, so negotiating with land-owners for other locations is ongoing.
