Direct hit I'm afraid.
If it sucks... hit da bricks
This thread was and is great. I probably read four or five different books I found in it and enjoyed all of them. Thank you!
You can't be talking like that British baby.
One struggle Hamas/Azov
There sure are.

Certainly if you want to help the people of Gaza as much as possible you think Israel should relax its vetting standards for aid organizations right? That would get more aid in faster.
That's not what I asked. I asked if you thought it was reasonable that they were being asked to do this extra vetting you think is so reasonable. Do YOU believe it is necessary?
Is it good that they aren't being let in? Should they be let in? Do you really think that DOCTORS WITHOUT BORDERS poses an actual security risk in Gaza?
Is it your contention that Doctors Without Borders is planning to enter the Gaza strip with nefarious terroristic intent? Seems to me that instead of your bullshit Israel should simply not deny them entry.
It's not often right to say it, but for once it's nice to see someone bullied off the internet.
Van Hollen laser eyes
This is why it is essential that Van Hollenheads prevail.
Republicans, apparently.
Like, I don't think it's good to protest at synagogues, I really don't. I just also think it's really bad to tell people stolen land outside of Israel is a good place to make Aliyah.
That is certainly your opinion. I don't think it's good to advertise stolen land and clearly feel more strongly about that than you do. Furthermore, my recommendation would be to advertise it away from houses of worship if you must so that this very thing does not happen.
They promote and advertise settlements in the occupied territories. This is straightforwardly illegal. Maybe it's bad to protest them at a synagogue, but I also think it's bad to advertise places to make Aliyah that aren't actually in Israel.

Sorry this one came off a little hot, I don't mean that as a threat or anything, but I think we've all seen how bad not actually being willing to do a partition has worked out for literally everyone these past few years and I fear it will only get worse without a dramatic change.
It's been over half a century. Baby steps aren't good enough any more. Denying people their human rights for that long is intolerable to me. Run don't walk to the two state solution if you believe in it because you won't like what comes next if you don't.
I'd have to pull up a list, but there are other laws and policies that are unequal as well.
Well, Jews have the right to national self-determination and Palestinians do not.
That's not true. You are aware of the basic law yes? It has the following in its text: "The right to exercise national self-determination in the State of Israel is unique to the Jewish people." Does that sound equal to you?
Why is it a quasi state and why should it only be treated as one?
Why should Fatah have to reform or prove anything to anyone to be allowed to marshall an army? Should Israel also be disarmed until they meet some arbitrary standard?
Also, you are aware I assume that Palestinian citizens of Israel lack equal rights to their Jewish countrymen right? Is that acceptable to you?
Okay, so how do you make it happen? Israel clearly will not accept it as the state is currently constructed and has never offered a truly sovereign state to the Palestinians. Would you support sanctioning Israel like we do Russia until they capitulate? What about arming Fatah like we do Ukraine?
I think its pretty damn central. Israel rules 33% of the population in the territory it governs as dispossessed and stateless people and has no plans to stop doing so. How could such a moral stain not be central?
