This unlocks the ideal of “cumulative knowledge” in Tools for Thought by recognizing that this goal requires effortful user behavior (contextual searches) and subverting that with AI & design.
Any ideas of what I should call this pattern?
Tools for Thought have largely become digital libraries. A compounding mind requires a librarian, who will resurface relevant information at the right moment.
