What was the hardest part of emigrating?

Yeah a lot of people I know have migration from red/purple states to blue one as their first option and going international as a fallback

I’d say about 25% of my family and friends are the same boat as this

Yeah I think it would be prohibitively expensive — if not impossible — for most Americans. That said, the calculus may shift depending on how the midterms and 28 elections go. People underestimate how quickly people can emigrate out of desperation when democracies erode this rapidly.

I expect much more emigration in the years ahead. Not a bad idea to consider one’s options in the event that things continue to decline.
