Back when I started, a large percentage of new followers were obviously fake accounts, but a few were questionable. Maybe it’s settled down now.
I stopped following most people back because I didn’t have time to screen the fake accounts, unless they interact with me and seem to be okay. I probably should be more careful.
I don’t usually click any links, I just thought it was funny and shared it to their official account. 😆 On Substack the worst that could happen is I see content, realize I followed the wrong one, and unfollow.
