Yeah. It hurt me to not include Gothic 2, another classic staple.
I've been sick to various degrees for almost a month now (back to it being pretty bad rn), and now my husband and kid are sick as well and I am just so exhausted
Funny to think I has plans for March, I'll be lucky to just get my shit together by the end of the month
Well I'm just glad Studio Zero got an opportunity to do their thing
Been playing Metaphor:ReFantazio lately and enjoying it so much I'm not even playing RE9 until I finish.
Far as I'm concerned, it's an improvement over P5 in most aspects, the only big exception being the visuals. I'm glad we got this instead of P6, thank you Atlus.
Extended exposure to American and other English-speaking messaging environments gave me a habit of freely using exclamation points and I fear that makes me sound absolutely deranged to the Eastern Europeans
In awe of people that manage to live and do things with chronic pain. I've had this headache for 5 days and I'm feeling my grip on reality slip
Welp, my brother's visiting for 3 days and I spent half of one in a queue to the doctor's office π«
Got my second terrible sinus infection this winter, and
right when my relatives are visiting, too π
It's funny a bit sad that no Gothic-derivative has outdone the originals. Archolos is good precisely because it's Gothic 2 but more & with QoL. Pyranha Bytes' newer games all tried to "improve" the combat and were worse for it.
But well, Archolos also has much more varied quests and NPCs than ELEX.

Playing CoM: Archolos is my comfy zone. There's just something about Gothic-likes that makes me relax. Never do I want to listen to a podcast while backtracking through the forests, I'm just vibing and sitting with my thoughts in a way I can't in any "comfy" game. Dunno why, maybe just nostalgia.
Okay what the hell, went into the Language setting and bsky set me to "English" again. I distinctly remember disabling that just last week.
Yeah that's her!
Yes, that's the goal! I want to keep to the colour limitations and all that (I think some colours used here are wrong, but I'll fix that)
Yeah!
February's a bit late for the year's resolution, but actually, my two goals for 2026 are:
- finally try ADHD meds
- finish this picture

I've started working on this December but can't get around to set up my evening workplace (everything is complicated over here) ever since. But I'm always thinking of her... and of making at least one more picture in the same style with So Mi...
I'd love for the next game to be smaller in scope and more focused, but I'm not delusional and know that's highly unlikely to happen. Maybe if they run out of money.
Practically forced myself to finish Infinite Wealth. I think this game will remain in my memory as a fun experience that also made me emotional about Kiryu again, but I won't forget the way it made me struggle against my worst habits, either.
Yeah, that was my experience. One of my formative memories is playing Morrowind in a PC club and getting stared at like a freak. I never had the courage to join in on the multiplayer and competitive games, I felt unwelcome enough just being in the same room.

Thank you!! I only watched Planetes the anime, does manga go far beyond the scope of that?
Honestly, I remember Paranormasight as a pretty mediocre mystery where characters run in circles until a massive total exposition that didn't feel earned. It was pleasant but not at all captivating for me (except for the beautiful character art).
Still, happy it got a sequel and will check it out.
I am 85% certain it's never on sale because they want to funnel people into buying Kiwami 3 instead. If you're on PC, sometimes it is morally neutral to acquire games from certain other websites...
I quite like Ichiban but he certainly isn't winning any points from being put right next to Kiryu.
See I don't even mind the shogi, riichi mahjong, SEGA games and other classic Yakuza fluff! What I DO mind are those Sujimon raids everywhere, ultimate weapon grind in boooooring ass dungeons, NPCs you can wave at and items and tons of mobs everywhere, all of which I struggle to ignore π«
We did a Steam roundup of some of the fan art we've received for Demonschool! It's been really nice seeing how much spontaneous art there's been, so we wanted to celebrate that a little bit. store.steampowered.com/news/app/190...
Yeah the main story feels buried under the bloat and the distractions in a way it didn't feel before. I enjoyed Kiryu's Ijincho story much more, and now I'm wondering if that's because a lot of the side-stuff is exclusive to Ichiban!
I really don't want to add modern Yakuza to the banned list of games that ruin my brain chemistry but unfortunately IW is exactly that. It's frustrating because I got 35 hours in LaD which was enough for most side-content and the optional final dungeon. But now it's bloated to real time-waster level
