It’s very competitive out there. I went from filling out a few contact forms, to same day callbacks, followed up with 3 site visits, to quotes, to confirmation of install date within a week. Went with goingsolar.ie in the end.

They’ve finally created Batchelor Chow. We have reached peak civilisation.
My two dogs are very fond of the spot in the corner of the basin talked about here and I would be convinced it because of the extra content of the pee and poop there.
Oh my god, I think you have finally solved a childhood memory of mine of watching a film in my uncle’s house when I was very young (maybe 7 or 8) and I vividly remember a scene with the villain dining with a woman in a desert under a marquee and nearly choking on a fishbone.
So I’m pretty sure I remember the same story or at least I’ve heard both halves of it separately and have merged them as well. Which probably goes to prove the possible ghost of a paper.
Panel 1: 3 goons in full combat gear. Goon 1: He’s gone! Goon 2: How the hell do you fight shadows? Panel 2: zoom in squad leader. “No problem … just keep shooting at them until one screams and falls over. “ Panel 3: 3 goons firing their weapons
These panels from when he’s using that cloak have lived rent free in my head since I read them in the 90’s.
One simple trick for Elon Musk to actually be liked by humans and not just Mechahitler and incels.
A 90’s metal dreadnaught painted in Dark Angel colours (dark green with red accents) armed with an autocannon and power claw.
A 90’s metal dreadnaught painted in Ultramarine colours (blue with red highlights). It is somewhat battered with torn decals.
A 90’s metal Utlramarine captian in blue and gold. He has a sideways mohawk in red and white. He is armed with a plasma pistol (painted metallic silver and red with a green plasma glow) and a powersword lightly glowing blue.
A 90’s Ultramarine captain painted in blue and silver. He has a blue and white sideways mohawk.
A friend gifted me a job lot of 90s metal miniatures that he got cheap off facebook marketplace. I’ve started to give them a glow up and I’m rather pleased how the first two turned out. #oldhammer #minipainting #wh40k
Don’t forget @2000ad.bsky.social Cannon Fodder as well (en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canon_F...). Much ultra violence all in service of a pun.
Thanks, they’re a poor copy of these guys on Insta: www.instagram.com/p/C503-niILWm/
A Bezerker weilding a plasma pistol and chain axe mounted on a Juggernaut ready to gather skulls. Painted in a classic res, brass and black scheme.
A slightly kitbashed chaos killteam with Mk VI bodies and tyranid arms/weapons. Painted in a cherry red with a glossy black.
An Alpha Legion kill team with all weapon options. Painted a metallic teal on space hulk bases.
A pair of Alpha Legion marines spy a Soul Drinker through a window.
Some of my recent work for Kill Team and my own amusement. #wh40k #killteam #bloodforthebloodgod
This was the best Christmas present I ever got until my wife got me the voice activated self transforming Optimus Prime last year.
Hah, missed the link as I was trying to remember if the annual pictured was still in my parents attic. Thanks!
About 25 years ago I found an archive with the whole run of the comic on it and read it over a couple of days. It was amazing. There was one intro page with a couple of panels about a civilisation on an asteroid that was destroyed when it got too close to the sun that was peak Grant Morrison.
If you don’t know, there was an amazing conversion in WD in the late 80’s using Star Wars and Zoid parts that has popped up again recently www.reddit.com/r/Warhammer4...
Astrogranite + nuln oil + dry brush of administratum grey should get you good results. Astrograinte, like all the technicals, takes forever to dry.
14 models for a Karskin Kill Team painted in Steel Legion colours (tan and grey) using bodies from the Veterans kill team and parts from Tiny Legends
+1 for Tiny Legend. They do great conversion kits as well as their own models. I did a Steel Legion Kasrkin Kill Team using their bits.
I’ll email you.
Would probably be interested in sub-1000 progs and could pick up. What ones are there? Looks like 750ish up?
Can I recommend buying metal models from the 90’s at an extortionate markup?
Noticed that this week as well. Probably a good time to actually cut down on my consumption as I’ve been saying for months.
The only boring machine I’m interested in. And some tanks because why not? #Epic40k #oldhammer #wh40k #warhammer
More of my living my best #Epic40k life, this time with some Squats in a more modern Leagues of Votann colour scheme.

At least these guy’s wives know they aren’t having affairs when this is their level of OPSEC.
Having been through a planning enforcement for cosmetic issues I suspect someone reported it to the council. That triggers an investigation and the council then have to follow through as if they don’t it can be used against them in more serious planning enforcement.
Worth doing. And when you’re dropping ~€500 on glasses it’s worth it.
I don’t know if you have another option locally, but I stopped going to specsavers 20 years ago after discovering that going to an independent opticians was cheaper despite my annoying & awkward prescription (one eye significantly weaker than the other).
At the start of Covid the guy running the local wine shop told me that the warehouses in Ireland were heaving as so much had been stockpiled in preparation for massive disruption. So when Covid rolled around & there were actual impacts we were still prepared. Don’t see that planning happening….
They are - ebay purchases and eye wateringly expensive these days.
