Based in Bangkok and Chiang Rai. Like to run roads and trails in Thailand. Day job is piloting a B2B marketing agency for industrial companies. Playing with Asia data, industry market data, building websites, platforms (Laravel/Filament) and more!
Crowded walking street in Lampang tonight. More touristy than I thought!
Spotted the #pubg advertisement barge yesterday fiercely sailing Bangkok's Chao Phraya. Still unsure about its meaning or if any brand has attempted similar thing before ๐ค #riverMarketing
That's how much ๐
Quite different themes on my top podcasts of the year in Spotify wrap. The Rest is History has been on for almost all my runs, catching up on older episodes. History, science, ultrarunning and Thailand. Missing space with Startalk that I watch on Youtube.
The state of Linkedin content is just sad. One of the largest technology provider on the planet is not willing or capable of curating an interesting timeline with facts and insight, rather than showing us duplicated viral posts and AI generated pics. Wish we could bring our own timeline algorithm...
Now stop teasing me like this. #Bangkok #Thailand
I would self host if my Thai electricity was stable ๐
It will be a topic for sure to diversify from Cloudflare in coming weeks for sure ๐
Just by proxying DNS it is good at mitigating traffic spikes by bot attacks, filter out AI crawlers, caching some content and despite yesterday still works flawlessly 99.9999 percent of time, which means it actually saves money. Can't complain much since they do that for free ๐

And those gigabytes don't even guarantee you can log in and/or join your customer meeting successfully because of some obscure MS organization conflicts. A true joy to discover bugs exactly one minute preceding your important meetings.
Looking forward to see you on Youtube ๐

Idea #3
Adventure is nice... but Asian tourists like convenience and above all want to feel safe (some would avoid Europe or US for that reason). Thinking about women too. Work on that too I guess ^^
Idea #2
There are already convenient flights to secondary cities, mostly used by Indian people flying out. Develop these destinations tourist infrastructure and marketing, allow people to bypass Mumbai and New Dehli. I had great time in Kerala before thanks to direct Air Asia Bangkok-Kochi flights ๐
Seen in an article this morning. Bangkok (the city) draws x3 the number of tourists of India (the whole country).
Idea #1
It wasn't mentioned in the article... but maybe just start by cutting the e-visa/visa crap? An unnecessary friction and complexity that creates an ecosystem of shady websites.
Sure heavy rain in Bangkok is bad for traffic but it makes the moobaan suitable for waterpolo.
Meanwhile in Thailand, ThaiBev to invest and open 45 new KFCs ^^

I think this is an interesting inflection point. Would more families make the switch (at least a few times a week?) in this context?

A bit of coding last night for our in-house "B2B agency timesheet" app. A custom widget to visualize individual and team hours in each project with "github style" heatmap. Allowing to see how many hours we spend on each customer... or spot when we forgot to log hours. #Filament #Livewire #Laravel
It reminds me of sugar water a bit too much. I'd rather have it murky. #pepsimurky
Nice evening run around Nong Bon tonight. Keeping an eye on the watch as they close at 6.30pm ๐โ To their credit they do open at 4.30am though. #Bangkok #Running #Thailand

For people interested in pet food industry in Asia and Thailand in particular I recommend visiting this show at BITEC in a few weeks to learn more about the processing, packaging and ingredient players >> petfair-sea.com
I've been working with customers in that industry for a few years. The dry pet food and wet pet food (linked to canning industry sometimes) are both huge contributors to the Thai economy. Thai pet food exports take the No.2 spot - Bangkok Post >> www.bangkokpost.com/business/gen...
It's like poker mixed with 3D chess. There is even a white knight.
What is Pheu Thai doing with Chaikasem Nitisiri? When will the People's Party announce their decision? Will Phumtham dissolve parliament? Are we about to see a knight in shining armor?

It's not clear to me what benefits an early retirement below legal age grant them. If it's just 8 month pay then it seems the bank is just dismissing an aging workforce at a cheaper rate than if they were firing them directly, and doing a bit of PR on the way?
