#CdATroupes Today, I will be auditioning people for a troupe that may or may not be a one-shot deal. The people who signed up for auditions are all trained actors. This will be a fun day with tough decisions. Later, this evening, I will attend a show by Pazzi-Lazzi.
Making progress on the workflow for my AI project. I have hope that this will work.
I'm continuing with this AI thing, and I am making some progress, and saving time on a project, but I will have to do a lot of this with humans. What I'm doing is just too hard for the tool.
I am trying to do something with an AI tool. It reminds me of the movie "50 First Dates". Every two hours it looks the same, but has lost track of what we did before.
The radio's playing some forgotten song: www.youtube.com/watch?v=WtYn...
#CdAHistory We went through "The Riddles" tonight. It could be a fun play. I'm curious about she all the mocking gifts being given were green and white. In related news, I an preparing to start transcribing an 800 page manuscript that was penned by many different scribes, some of whom were sloppy.
#CdATroupes i Sebastiani performed this afternoon at Art at the Armory in Somerville. It was a lively show, and I will post the video of it tomorrow.
Here is a short nineteenth century film about conquering an out of control AI, and the AI is represented by a famous late-period Commedia dell'Arte character.

#CdAHistory Today is a tedious day of photoshopping images of manuscript pages to reduce the impact of bleed-through and otherwise make it easier to transcribe. I am in a state of mind where this repetitive task is therapeutic.
#CdAHistory Today we went through a second pass on a farcical play from the early days of Commedia dell'Arte. We had some lingering issues the previous session, but I think we solved them all today.
On April 9th, he Shakespeare group I'm in will start looking at the play about King Duncan and his line of succession.
Someday, perhaps in a couple years, I'll be within a thousand miles of one of your shows, and will contrive to see it.
I have spontaneously dropped into a Zoom meeting for Arts and Sciences from a group in/near Atlanta. Fun people, some of whom I already know and work with.
I heard some of the beginning of the SOTU speech last night while driving home from rehearsal, but I didn't seek it out when I got out of the car. That guy is such a lying, broken, petty, vengeful windbag. Nothing he says can be assumed true or helpful.
Should be a busy day today. I got the minimum done, but not much more yet. Having some big thing coming up seems to prevent me from starting minor tasks. I need to find a way around that.
He wasn't just rude, while being loyal to his family and peer group, but he was spectacularly and very creatively rude. If you watch "Shoresy" pay special attention to the insults he says to the other players to rile them up. That's the level of rude that Bertolino must have been.
#CdAHistory There was a popular character in the late 1500s and later called Bertolino. I've been trying to find what made him so popular, and how to explain it. I realized today that he must have been a lot like the title character in the TV series "Shoresy". More in first reply ->
#CdATroupes i Sebastiani performed a 30 minute version of our current play to fit into the schedule of an SCA event "Settmoor Swamp presents a Venetian Carnevale". We had a last minute cast substitution. It went very well. I'll post the video after this run ends a week from today.
The last time before Andrew that a member of the royal family was arrested, the king was also named Charles.
#CdATroupes i Sebastiani has leapt a hurdle, and will perform on Saturday afternoon with an old friend as a new player. The Sunday, Le Stelle di Bacco will have a first rehearsal with movement of their new play. Those kids are great!
#CdATroupes i Sebastiani has a dress rehearsal tonight for Saturday's show. We've got some stuff to work out, but it is good stuff.
It's been a very busy few weeks, and today I am getting back to the tedious editing work. It'll take me an hour or so of doing it to remember exactly how I was doing it. We'll see how far I get before my next big effort gets underway in March.
I also envisioned a theatrical and cinematic supply company called Strangeness and Charm.

I'm doing a little more work this weekend updating my website to including now all 710 plays from the manuscripts. This will give me an easier time selecting plays to perform, and also some ability to find and compare similar plays. I'll post the URL in a day or two.
I had a friend in grammar school named Jonathan Ross. Today is his Birthday. The Jonathan Ross in the news recently is much younger, and so it is definitely not the same guy. Jonathan's little sister Marlene had a crush on me. That's a memory that comes up on Valentine's Day. Where are they now?
#CdAHistory The UK Group is going through a play i Sebastiani performed this Summer, and even so, we are finding little things that are ways to improve the play.
Valentine's Day tomorrow, but first I have to make it through Friday the Thirteenth.
#CdAHistory I'm taking my first look through the scenarios in Biancolelli-9328 (in Paris). 65 scenarios technically, but some of them are just a few scenes long, and have only 3 or 4 characters. It will be a while before I see details.
