Virtual outcrops created from ROV dives along the Mona Riftv at water depths exceeding two kilometers, as well as the different features we can see there.
Can we do field geology in the deep ocean? What can we learn from it? With a new method to turn imagery from remotely operated vehicles into virtual outcrops, colleagues from the USGS and I came back with some new ideas on the evolution of the Mona Rift near Puerto Rico. 🧪🌊⚒️
