Nancy by Ernie Bushmiller. First panel, Nancy talking to a logger sawing a tree and pointing to a carved piece of trunk. Nancy: Can I have that piece? My boy friend carved it. Logger: Sure. Second panel, Nancy is watching the log burn in the fire place. Nancy: I'm mad at him.
Every once in awhile I think about this Nancy comic and it makes me laugh every single time. Absolute perfection.

My fascination with King started with “Pet Cemetery” which I read whilst working overnights at a radio station. Bad place to read that or any other King novel.
Which I spent the next few years reading and buying everything I could.
And then I was done.
Thanks. I was so happy to find the Polly & Her Pals books. I’ve already read the Moon Mullins collection and it was fun.

I picked up the following Comic Strip Classics (also got the Second Volume of Polly & Her Pals, but I’m limited to four photos) at a comic shop for a terrific price.
