I have recently become aware that Archie did a short-lived Scooby-Doo book in the 90s and the first issue features this gorgeous Lee Weeks cover.

Please enjoy.

There are not many musicians whose music I don’t care for. He is on the list. He squandered what talent he had at the altar of his ego.

The more times I listen to anything he says, the more times I realize that time spent is gone, never to return.

Thus, I mourn.

You are, of course, 💯 % correct

And thanks for giving me a chance to use my favorite nicknames/insults for that preening loon, Kegsbreath.

Disinformation knows no party affiliation.

I do tend to agree with your caution in this case.

It involves SecDrunk Kegsbreath, so it naturally feels…off. Dude is a few rounds short of a loaded pistol.

Hooliganism is a word not use often enough

I used to referee soccer and umpire baseball. The parents were the worst part of the experience.

Nancy by Ernie Bushmiller.

First panel, Nancy talking to a logger sawing a tree and pointing to a carved piece of trunk.

Nancy: Can I have that piece? My boy friend carved it.
Logger: Sure.

Second panel, Nancy is watching the log burn in the fire place.
Nancy: I'm mad at him.

Every once in awhile I think about this Nancy comic and it makes me laugh every single time. Absolute perfection.

What is it good for?

Absolutely nothing!

Say it again!

Mine will remain The Stand. Especially the expanded edition.

Pet Semetary was a much better book than movie.

My fascination with King started with “Pet Cemetery” which I read whilst working overnights at a radio station. Bad place to read that or any other King novel.

Which I spent the next few years reading and buying everything I could.

And then I was done.

Thanks. I was so happy to find the Polly & Her Pals books. I’ve already read the Moon Mullins collection and it was fun.

I picked up the following Comic Strip Classics (also got the Second Volume of Polly & Her Pals, but I’m limited to four photos) at a comic shop for a terrific price.

I don't think these mother fuckers know how close they are to "let them eat cake."
