Admiring the fortitude of our resident crow pair this morning, as they 'police' the roof opposite in an attempt to dissuade the black back gulls from nesting there. I'm pretty sure it's cos the crows use the roof as a sort of 'pantry' - I've seen them tuck food around the tiles then 'harvest' bugs.

Also, I think the cultural media environment can be really bleak these days but I'm very grateful for all the friends I've made in Park City at Sundance down the years and enjoyed meeting new people this year too that hopefully I'll see again in Boulder.
