I ordered amethyst runes, because the "stone ones give the wood ones something to hold onto." Or so i hear from the Otherside. Finally giving myself in and learning Runes.

this cat looks like one of the Old Master painters who's just slept with three servants, argued viciously with his annoying patron about the inferior ham he receives, and then painted his masterpiece out of spite

Always learning... always reading. Never enough sharing about the weird things, never enough vocalizations about the more advanced witchery. Flight and fancy, dancing with gods, light of the moon at your back as you stare into the face of gods and goddesses...

And some will stay. Left to be chatted to. Pan, some seasonal spirits, and a dragon or two.. i am always tempted to keep more spirits in my court but i am.. not in a place where i can share myself as freely as i once did. I need to shape up my practice.. prune it as it were.

Finally a moment to reflect and potentially yap.

I am learning to not be a crossroads for every spirit. To not mark myself as "useful", and instead as "well left alone"... i am hoping to close my home up to most spirits i used to cavort with. As we have no more useful words between us.

Its almost my new moon date too, i love hanging with Pan to breathe life into each moon cycle. He's spirited the most on new moons imo.

Thinking of grabbing ohuhu markers one day... just a greyscale set. So i can mimic ink washes and use fineliners alongside.
