I’m 15 years old and have a disability. Social media has been a lifeline – why is the government kicking me off? | Ezra Sholl As I come to terms with life as a quadriplegic, Instagram and TikTok are a reminder I’m not alone

A whole lot of not thinking things through with this policy.

Pretty much assumes everyone is a middle-upper class white, straight teenager with no issues living in a city

Australia’s social media ban fails to consider so many aspects of parenting and childhood, let alone fixing structural problems of online platforms. Disability and disadvantage are key issues ignored by the ban. Shocking policy. www.theguardian.com/commentisfre...

Spotify has laid off thousands in recent years, while reportedly paying artists $0.003 per stream.

Spotify profits rose 28% in Q3. Its CEO is worth $9.8 billion. It's making money off ICE recruitment ads.

Don't you think it's time put a wrap on corporate greed and exploitation?

Last night at the Australian National Botanic Gardens (near ANU)! I was there working at the outdoor cinema hence the music in the video.

I don't think it's a nest (?) because a lot of other birds go and visit this hollow and it usually fills up with water, but she sure climbed in there!

The Cass Review is the worst kind of pseudoscience & has at least 13 peer-reviewed critiques of it (all ignored by mainstream media).

Streeting now wants a Cass Review for Autism, ADHD, etc.

I have characterised these as β€œcontrived authority” strategies (referring to the work of Max Weber)
